I loved the place, the room was super nice and comfy and there is everything you need (ac, kettle, balcony, ...) making the stay very pleasant. I worked online there for 2 weeks while enjoying the yoga classes and it was great. All the teachers are nice and friendly and everything is clean ! There is even a shared kitchen on the rooftop which is pretty convenient. Good value for money. Highly recommend !

I went to attend meditation classes, the first was nice but in the second they just played a recorded guided meditation. Better to ask if the meditation will be recorded or live before going, they are very active on WhatsApp. Also what I didn't like is that the person who was there was very condescending, when I told him that I thought it was weird that the meditation was recorded he told me that "I cannot understand what is a good meditation and the difference that the location can make" and to "go find a guru". I just made an observation and still payed 500 INR for a recoded guided meditation (that I could have done at home) and gave some feedback but the way the guy spoke to me was really not nice.. he took it very personally and responded quite rudely
I completed the Meditation Teacher Training Course offered by Nirvana Yoga Shala, and it was a profoundly transformative experience. Under the compassionate and insightful guidance of Guruji Shashi, I immersed myself in the art and practice of meditation. Guruji's thoughtful teachings created an inspiring atmosphere, even within the online format. The course was expertly designed, blending theory, practice, and interactive sessions to provide a well-rounded and deeply personal learning experience. Despite being virtual, I felt fully connected to the meditative journey. Guruji's dedication and clarity made this training far more than just a course--it became a journey of self-discovery and personal transformation. I am truly grateful for the knowledge and insights gained during this program.
Deeply Transformative Meditation Retreat I recently attended a meditation retreat at Nirvana Yoga Shala, and it was a truly profound experience. Guided by the incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate Shashi and Sammi, I gained invaluable insights into the art and practice of meditation. Their guidance was thoughtful, patient, and deeply impactful, making this retreat not just a learning experience but a transformative journey. The facilities at Nirvana Yoga Shala were exceptional--immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed to create a serene and comfortable environment for introspection and growth. Every aspect of the retreat was infused with care and love, fostering a space where one could truly connect with their inner self. I am deeply grateful for everything I learned and experienced during my time here. This retreat has not only enriched my personal practice but has also equipped me with the skills to share meditation as a teacher. I highly recommend Nirvana Yoga Shala to anyone seeking a meaningful and well-supported meditation experience.
The backbending class by Karthik Sir is the best in Mysore. The methods and sequences are all based on his long-time practice (he is a gold medalist in both National and International Yoga Championships). They offer not only asana classes but also a variety of meditation classes, including OSHO meditation, singing bowl meditation, dynamic meditation, Vipassana meditation, and more.
A regenerating stay! Many courses are offered. For my part I enjoyed Hata yoga classes and osho meditations. I also benefited from pranayama classes. The yoga restoration classes were welcome in the evening. In short a really complete week. With a warm and professional welcome. The rooms are practical and clean. Both centers are very quiet and the food is correct. Only one regret did not stay longer!
This is the best place I've stayed in my many visits to India. Osho Glimpse is a fabulously peaceful place. The room is a great size.. nice and bright.. with private balcony and AC. There is always hot water and I love having a kettle in my room. The meditation and yoga classes are just amazing- the meditation in particular which is different every day. Dheerendra is a fantastic meditation teacher, as well as being so lovely and helpful. I could have stayed here for weeks if I'd had time.
We spent one week there on the week package including everything. The place itself is fine, food is good and the price is fair. However, several points of critique definitely need to be made here also in order prevent others from having the experience we had especially with the stuff (receptionist, yoga teachers). 1. The booking coordination was a major challenge. When we arrived at Osho glimpse our rooms were not booked even though confirmed by the receptionist. His phone was not working anymore and this was enough excuse for not following up with us. There was a whole confusion with room availability which is why at first we had to go to another building (nirvana). Then it turned out that there is actually enough room in the Osho Appartement. In fact, it was almost empty with little visitors. So the very basics of administration simply did not work out. Anyways it did not bother too much but... 2. many classes simply did not take place some even without further notice. In total, 6 six classes were cancelled. The receptionist and Osho meditation facilitator told us the 3rd day that he will be on leave for the rest of the week no meditation classes will take place. He said we could do it ourselves. Wow, of course I can also do yoga classes by myself but that is not the point going to a meditation center. In addition, other classes (pranayama, aerial yoga and ashtanga classes were cancelled as well). For the remaining Ashtanga classes the teacher was late every morning at least 10-20min. Very disrespectful when more than 10 people get up early at 6:30 and continuously he would show up late. In other instances, teachers would have a phone call while being in the practice or district themselves with other stuff. At times I was shocked by that attitude. But still I have to say that the yoga itself when it takes place is great and the teachers nevertheless are experienced. So one hs to balance these before considering going. 3. The last and worst point simply reflects how badly trained the stuff is with basic things such as support in booking a taxi. We had to get a bus to reach Bangalore airport which we already booked. We asked the remaining receptionist of the Nirvana building ( they belong together ) if he could book as a taxi at 3pm. At 3.10pm I called him to know where the taxi is. He forgot booking it. On top, he said that is not his responsibility baring in mind that he said yes he will book a taxi. In a rush, eventually we managed to get a taxi. In conclusion, this place offers good opportunity to explore some practices. The accommodation is good and the quality is fine. The staff lags behind though and struggles with basic communication. Also one needs to check if classes are really held.
