Hotel Paradise

Worst experience staying in this hotel. There was frequent power cuts and in the extremely hot weather they took more than 10 mins every time to switch on the generator. Couldn't sleep in the night . Bathtub looked it could break anytime . Taps are old . Restaurant food was cold and had watery sambar . Coffee was 90% water. Seriously only good thing it's a spacious hotel. We will never come again .

It must have been a very good hotel once upon a time, and it looks like it had once been designed with a lot of care. But now it is neglected and badly kept. We had heard a lot about Mysore Dasaprakasha, but this was a HUGE disappointment. Pros: Ample parking space. Cons: The entire property looks neglected. Taps leak, and are covered with water deposits. Furniture upholstery is stained. The AC is noisy. All electrical switches are grimy; the TV and AC remote are so dirty that you won't want to touch them. Paint is peeling off the bathroom door, and cockroaches were also spotted (killed 2, but one escaped). Only two Medimix soap bars were given in the name of toiletries. No water bottles in the room, and no tea/coffee facility in room either. We needed to stay only for one night, and were tired, so just waited for morning, and left. Breakfast was supposed to be included in the room fare, but we did not wait to sample the food. We left at around 7:15, and breakfast was supposed to begin just 15 minutes later, but there didn't seem to be any activity in the restaurant.

Once upon a time was a huge, beautiful and happening hotel in Mysore. Now it has lost its charm and with poor maintenance, is hardly a good place to stay or hangout. Hope their management changes and bring back the old glory

Rooms are dated as is the hotel building. Staff is great as is the location. If someone is looking for a good room and good bathrooms, then this is not the one. Location is great. Lot of parking. Quiet area.

Lovely place and good food in mysore. Have been visiting this place for a long time for food now. The interior of the hotel is still the same may be good to upgrade but the other side to it is that it is authentic and old mysore style. Waiters at the restaurant are very friendly.

Good hotel and good food....but the restaurant was empty when I arrived and only one other customer was there when I left...don't know why but the whole place was empty cuz the place is actually good and beautiful

Very big property. Not very well maintained. Looks and feels old. Many things don't work. Rates are reasonable. For food better options are available outside. Plenty of parking space. Staff is OK - but they work at their own pace.

We had an awesome stay in this property for 2 nights in sep 14-16 2024. We got a room on second floor which had huge glass windows facing east which gave an awesome view of sunrise. The hotel is located on a hill so the views from all rooms are amazing. The room size is also huge for 2 adults and 2 kids. Yes they are slightly old and need maintenance but you won't face any issues. The welcome area is a huge lobby which feels premium. Car parking is huge and you won't face any issues in entering or exiting the parking either. Restaurant food is also great.Hotel and restaurant staff are very polite and helpful. Overall we had a wonderful experience there.
