Hotel Mysore Royale

This was actually a decent hotel. It is smacked near the palacce and i walked everywhere to places I wanted to see in Mysore because I was staying here. Very good location indeed. Food is also close nearby to the hotel and its actually near the sweet shops also so that is the highlight of the hotel. They however can be quite cheap in terms of service. They do charge for every extra little thing like water if you need extra and that's not great. I do however really like the room I was given. Very clean and nice. Check it out if you want to be walking distance away from almost every interesting spot in Mysore.

A decent hotel to stay near Mysore palace and Zoo. Walking distance to both the places. Room was ok. Not big size but can accommodate family of 4 easily. Room and toilet were clean. Parking is a bit problem. There is a limited space underground parking available. No restaurant but room services are available.

The rooms are visually appealing, but the overall experience was disappointing. The receptionists and staff are unprofessional, showing no respect to guests and failing to coordinate with the housekeeping team. To make matters worse, the hotel doesn't have enough parking spaces and expects guests to park their vehicles on the common road outside, without even providing a security guard. This reflects poorly on the management, which urgently needs to address these issues to improve the guest experience

Family Suite: The place was neat and clean, when we took family suite The blankets were fresh, towels (we always carry our own, so cant comment), requried shampoo/body wash was kept avaialble. Door and Room Mats: Recommend to add few more, as the dust is carried inside Service: There is an opportunity for service to be improved. A Coffee was never served, unless untill we came to reception, and repeated the order that was placed on the phone from room. Finally instead of coffee they served TEA. :-) Location: Its not ideal, as the place is away from major tourist places, however considering entire mysore can be covered in to 20 to 30 min;s this place can be considered

I wish I could give this place zero stars. From the moment I walked in, it was a disaster. The staff were rude and unhelpful, the rooms were filthy, and the whole place smelled like a mix of mold and sewage. The bed was uncomfortable with stained sheets, and the bathroom was disgusting--dirty towels, broken fixtures, and no hot water. To top it off, the room had cockroaches! The noise level was unbearable with people shouting in the hallways all night, and the Wi-Fi, which they advertised as free and reliable, barely worked. Breakfast was inedible, with stale bread and cold coffee. This was by far the worst hotel stay of my life. Save yourself the misery and stay literally anywhere else. Total waste of money!

New rooms. Good maintainance. Friendly staff. Family friendly. Very close to ATM, PALACE, ZOO, KARANJI LAKE, MALL OF MYSORE AND CHAMUNDI HILL. Location is fantastic
