Hotel Golden Riviera

I have stayed at this hotel for business purpose and I spend 3 nights. From the moment I arrived the service was 5 stars, the room clean and spacious and as a complement they have a fantastic South Indian food restaurant. I am non veg from Colombia that sometimes have issues eating Indian food. But this food was so good, fresh and tasty.

The hotel has a nice ambience but the deluxe rooms are very tiny. We were a group of 9. We had booked 4 rooms and I had requested for an extra cot with mattress in one room to which they said ok over the phone and we paid extra for the extra bed. But upon check in I found out that they do not have any Cots....they only provide extra mattresses ... I wish they would have told this clearly. Our stay included breakfast. For breakfast they give a combo which is fair enough.... also the quality and taste was good but their service at the restaurant was Pathetic...So very slow...we stayed 2 nights....the second day service was even more terrible. They kept us waiting for that combo for almost 40 minutes. They really need to work on a solution to this problem. Every time we asked how long .. it's almost ready was the answer. Their staff is okay... None of their staff helped us with our baggage. Overall it's an average place to stay which flaunts a 3 star.

I loved the South Indian meals there. They served delicious holige which made the place very different from other restaurants. Loved the vegetarian food there. Must visit if in Mysore. I loved their bhindi fry, poori and Saagu out of the world.

The location is opposite to the Yoganarasimhar swamy Temple. The rooms were airy, comfy. The best part was a sumptuous morning breakfast. The restaurant (Aria) had very good vegetarian spread. The "Herbs on Pizza" provided an excellent Pizza. We enjoyed "Farmers Delight" a medley of Veggies on the Pizza. Must visit place.

Everything is good. Andhra meals is so delicious. Priya from the restaurant is so welcoming and literally pushes you to try all the dishes. Definitely It's a must try.

Hi All, I planned for a small trip to Mysore along with my family - Myself, wife and a 2 year kid. The staffs and receptionist were very helpful and pleasing. We didn't face any kind of difficulty in the hotel. Coming to the food, the hotel has their own restaurant and a cafe in their premises. Complimentary breakfast (if opted) in the restaurant was ultimate and we had evening snack in the cafe as well. It was top notch with their wheat pizzas and breads. Seriously recommended for family... Luv this stay... Hope will visit in the future, may be years later

Overall it was a good experience. The room was neat and clean. AC, tv was functioning well. Working desk was provided and had all the necessary items that were expected in a 3 star hotel. Minor things that can be improved: Quilt: quilt were pretty old and it had lints all over. Bathroom Bad odour: The bathroom had a bad smell due to sewage issues. Bathroom freshener could have been provided to avoid the unpleasant experience.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel was spotless, staff were friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious . Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
