Grand Mercure Mysore

My stay at Grand Mercure was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a space that exudes sophistication and comfort. The ambience was thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. Every corner of the hotel reflected impeccable attention to detail, ensuring a seamless blend of elegance and tranquility. What stood out the most was the remarkable cleanliness--every space was maintained to the highest standards, making my experience all the more enjoyable. Whether it was the well-appointed rooms, the serene common areas, or the beautifully curated dining spaces, everything was spotless and well cared for. Grand Mercure truly delivers an experience that is both luxurious and welcoming, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking for quality hospitality. I highly recommend it!

This is my second time staying, after i enjoyed my first time stay. Rooms are compact but very clean and comfortable for a stay for 2 persons. Breakfast is outstanding which I really liked in the stay. Amenities are good, especially the roof top swimming pool is very calm and private feel. Ambience is a typical star hotel Ambience, don't expect a resort type Ambience, however the Breakfast Ambience is good with kids play area set up. Hotel has nice bar inside if you really wanna hang out with your friends. Overall I would recomended anyone to stay in this hotel if you are planning for a trip at mysore, mysore palace is very near.

A Comfortable Stay with Exceptional Staff Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment. While the overall experience was positive, I felt the food, although decent, could be improved slightly in terms of variety or perhaps seasoning to elevate the dining experience further. However, the absolute highlight of my stay was the hotel staff. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction. I'd like to give special recognition to Nirmala, Tanmay, and Cfan. Their helpfulness and professional demeanor truly made a difference and contributed significantly to my enjoyable stay. Their service was outstanding!

The location of the hotel is good. It was clean. But the rooms are tired and in need of updating. The quality and spread of the breakfast was good. However the wait staff never explained or approached us and we did not figure out the coffee station was set up outside until we were leaving. Staff interactions were courteous and upon request we were granted a slightly later checkout time. However the check out process was chaotic. After everyone kept jumping in front of us who were patiently waiting our turn, we ended up having to elbow in to be able to check out. I am ready for this interaction when I am at a market but not at a 5-star hotel. I would give this hotel a 3-star not a 5-star.

I have been staying here every time I have visited mysore over the last few years. The quality of the hotel upkeep and service in particular has deteriorated particularly. The gym is barely functional,even though they have a full equipment selection. The treadmills make a horrible noise. The pool shuts down by 7:00 pm which is so useless if you a business customer..room service never answer the phone anytime. If close to dinner,there is no chance that it will get picked up. They actively discourage you from ordering room service at dinner time stating that it will take more than 40 mins and wanting you to have the overly priced poor quality buffet. This time both days I had to walk down to the reception to place an order for room service. Pathetic The restuarant struggles to meet guest needs at breakfast time.if it's a weekend or a long weekend which was the case for me this time, then the whole system goes down. The tea was cold, no milk, rhe dosa counter waiter is clueless as to who ordered what. Inspite of telling the waiter twice about the beverages he did nothing. This is not to say all are the same. When i mentioned this to another waiter 15 mins later, he quickly rectified the situation. The bakery section of the buffet is very poor. Not sure if this is made in house or procured from outside. Either way it's quality is bad. The reception staff is a mixed bunch with some of them being very haughty. This was the first time I had this experience otherwise they atleast are always very cordial. This time I had the misfortune of encountering a lady reception staff who would ask all guests to wait before even hearing the request they had. We stayed in a twin room and he toilet fittings are jaded with no ventilation of ang sort. I will not be staying any more at this property. It's very expensive at almost 10k per night. All in all a very unpleasant experience

The food at this hotel was absolutely phenomenal! Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with the freshest ingredients. From the hearty breakfast buffet to the delicious a la carte dinners, every meal was a highlight of my stay. The service was equally impressive--staff were attentive, friendly, and always made sure I had everything I needed. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a satisfying meal, the culinary experience here is something you don't want to miss. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at the Grand Mercure. We had booked two suites and a deluxe room -- thanks to Vinod, who did a great job upgrading us so that everyone stayed in suites. He also made it a point to call and check on our arrival, which was much appreciated. The rooms were very clean and tastefully done. A special mention to Manoj Bisth, who made the effort to personally socialize with guests and ensure everyone was well taken care of -- I had a lovely chat with him. Thank you! A few things that need attention: The spa is not operated by Tattva, so ALL vouchers cannot be used there -- something that could be looked into for better guest experience. Also, a shout-out to Manas and Suman from the F&B team for their attentive service.

We had a wonderful family stay at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Mysore! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out--every staff member we interacted with was exceptionally polite and helpful, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. One of the highlights was the food--absolutely excellent! Each meal was a treat, with a wide variety of dishes that catered to all our tastes. The location of the hotel is another big plus. It's incredibly convenient, being so close to all the major viewpoints and attractions in Mysore, which made our sightseeing super easy and enjoyable. The only small suggestion we have is regarding the pool timing. It's currently open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and we felt that extending the hours a little later into the evening would be a great improvement for guests who enjoy a relaxing swim after a day out. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Grand Mercure to anyone visiting Mysore!
