Aashraya Homestay

The property owner is humble and so is his spouse. They allowed us to check-in 2 hours early. You are treated like a family member. The property owner stood at the gate until our car moved. He waved his hand to say bye, that was a nice gesture. The area is calm, car parking is excellent. You get clean towels, complimentary soaps and shampoos. The door lock in the bathroom and main door is difficult to manage. locking and unlocking the door was difficult. since this room didn't have AC, I had to use the ceiling fan and keep all the windows open. during the night, there were mosquitoes because I kept the windows open. the mosquito repellent in the room didn't have the refill and so we couldn't use it. The room had split beds but we were a family of 3 and so it was difficult to sleep on the split beds. The beds were not cushiony. I expected a Queen size soft bed like how traditional hotels provide. Overall, it was good but definitely not Excellent. They can improve their service provided these critical points are taken care of.

Never book this homestay through Agoda, when we reached the spot, owner had given the room to someone else

A very good place for a family stay. Rooms are very spacious, clean. Toiletries were provided. RO+UV drinking water. Owner was very humble and allowed us for a couple of late hours of check out.

Lovely area with good ventilated, large rooms. Worth the stay for the room's price and amenities like drinking water, kettle,refrigerator and geyser. Roads are large which facilitates no issues with four wheeler parking and nearby is a temple and hotel.food at hotel was just average but the stay and area at Aashraya homestay was good and lovely.

It is neither a hotel nor a proper homestay. The room is good, but there is no service from the owner's side. For food one has to order from Zomato. There is an electric kettle but no tea bags or coffee pouch or milk powder provided. When asked, the owner said that we have to make the arrangements ourselves. The room did not even have mosquito repellent. We could not sleep during the night because of mosquito menace.

The feel good Home stay you wish after your Home is the Aashraya Homestay located in the 12th Main Road, Vijayanagar 1st stage, Mysore. It is just 5 Kms from Mysore Railway station. Sri.Ponnanna, the home owner is staying in the Ground floor. Multiple rooms in the 1st floor. Refrigerator, Kettle, oven and RO water facilities are available for the Guests use. Yoga Narasimhar Temple, Supermarket, IOB and ATM, Restaurants and a huge park are there in walkable distance from the Home. In Simple, a best place to stay with family including kids.

A wonderful place to stay at Mysore - huge rooms, spic and span bathrooms, and shared Aquaguard, fridge, and microwave. Bachelor or married people, all are welcome here. Ponnana and his wife are the perfect hosts - always there with a smile to help you with any query! P.S.: Don't forget to ask them for a cup of coffee! And you will get to know the story behind the coffee.
