Nellimani Cottages - Coorg Stay

I had a delightful stay at this homestay last week. The surroundings were lush and green, creating a serene atmosphere. The food was exceptionally tasty, and I appreciated the pet-friendly environment. Overall, a wonderful experience!

These, old house turned into cottages, are far away from the centre of Madikeri.. Most of the tourist attractions are remote to the Nellimani. The dormitory we stayed in has three interconnected rooms with no doors and two bathrooms attached to one room which makes it difficult to use when you are a group of people. Even the switch boards or sockets are of the old house. Cots, mattresses, lights.. everything belongs to old world. Another additional feature of Nellimani is,you will have dogs and cats (probably manager's pets)with you when you sit for dinner waiting to grab the bones. Not at all worth the pricing. Nellimani,"nothing new about it"

Very basic rooms. No room service. No dustbins, no toiletries were provided. No change of bedspread. Hot water barely came. Cleanliness was worst. Because we had to last minute booking and it was long weekend we managed. Pros :Camp fire was arranged. Had fun playing tambola with family. Food was like home cooked average. They were ready to arrange for birthday party of my son. Good hospitality.

Overall experience was very good. Owner and staff was very good and provided lot of information about nearby places to visit. I love this location and surroundings.we loved the local food prepared by cottage staff. Thanks to each and everyone for making this great and wonderful stay.

A decent resort at the price it's offered. Good for friends outing rather than a family outing. Has cottages and rooms too. We had booked a cottage - Cottage is spacious, not quite clean and has a bad odour. Not the best maintained rooms. Linens weren't the best either.

A beautiful home stay hosted by Mr Rujan. He will make sure you get the amenities you need. Very friendly guy. Location is beautiful Hospitality is beyond expectations. Feels very homely.

Cozy cottages. Good food, hygienic bathrooms. Amazing authentic coorg dishes, my vegetarian palate was taken care of too!! The staff were too kind to serve my toddler the food he needs at odd hours.. We had a very pleasant stay for 2 days..

I've had the best experience being here, having some good time with friends as this place is really worth visiting. The food here especially the dragon pork chops is the most delicious ones. The new management of this stay are doing great. The rooms and the staff are really neat and friendly. Thank you @nellimanicottages for this experience. Will visit again soon.
