Sampige Resort

I recently stayed at Sampige Resort and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was another highlight--fresh, tasty, and with a good variety to choose from. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, and we especially appreciated the local flavors. The resort itself had a peaceful and relaxing vibe, perfect for a short getaway. Overall, Sampige Resort is a great place to unwind, with excellent service and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit!

We visited the 4 month old Sampige Resort a few days ago to celebrate my mum's birthday and stayed for 2 nights, and we can't wait to go back again. The drive from Mangalore city is a peaceful and enjoyable 1 hour drive by car and the roads are pretty good as well. As soon as you enter the gates of the resort, you feel as if you are in a resort in Europe or South East Asia. The entrance, lobby, banquet hall, rooms, restaurants, common areas, and pool are soo elegant and beautifully done up with tastful furniture and decor. Infact, ever corner is picture-worthy. From the watchman to the valet driver, the reception staff to the housekeeping and restaurant staff all are so friendly, kind, well trained and have a smiling face - ready to help. The food & drinks both at Kwality and Horizon Rooftop restaurant was excellent and the breakfast buffet not only have variety but every item was delicious. We booked the standard room with an extra bed and it was very comfortable for 3 persons to stay. However will definitely like to explore the pool villas during our next visit and stay. To mention a few staff members that were excellent - GM's - Mr. Prasad, Mr. Subhakar and Mr. Sudaresh Reception - Mr. Vijay, Jeslin and Anushree Bellboy - Manish G Poojari Restaurant - Ritu Yadav, Pikai, Ashwini, Santosh SK and Sneha The pool is the most enjoyable part of the resort and extremely well planned. Thank You Sampige Resort and Staff! Pls don't drop your standard like most resorts do once they become popular :)

I recently celebrated my 65th Birthday with a two day Staycation at the amazing Sampige Resort, and I absolutely enjoyed myself with my family. What touched me the most was the warm hospitality of all the staff members at the resort. The restaurant staff gathered around my table and all sang Happy Birthday, while I cut my cake. Thank you Jeslin, Vijay, Ritu Yadav and Sneha for your kind words and service. Mr. Prasad, great job managing the team and property. All the food, drinks and breakfast items was delicious. I can't wait to stay there once again and enjoy the quiet, calm and beauty the property has to offer.

Wow, wow, wow! What a place to visit! We are here for family and to visit historical and sacred spots, and needed a place to stay. What we got was a delightful surprise! A truly stunning property, pristine, incredibly comfortable, with superbly helpful and kind staff. The restaurant is truly special, with delicious food and incredible service (what lovely people!), and an excellent variety of South Indian, North Indian, and European continental choices. We had a pool access room, which was incredible! LIterally an entrance to the pool, from our small and delightful porch. The decor is both grand and tasteful - really a hard combination to achieve - making one feel both comfy and a bit like royalty, at the same time. The chicken sukka at the restaurant, with neer dose, is particularly delightful, and the breakfast is ample and excellent (great vade!). Would be a great place for a wedding!

Sampige Resort is one of the best resort my family and I have stayed at a few days back. It was so comfortable, calm and relaxing for us. The property, staff, room, restaurants, breakfast and food and drinks was all amazing! Kudos to the entire Management and Team!

A beautiful resort on the hills of Moodabidri. A clean, well though out layout and beautifully done interiors will surround you in luxury with the staff going to great lengths to ensure your comfort during your stay. My 12 year old being able to jump into the pool right from his room was the icing on the cake. Food was delicious with plenty of variety. Will definitely visit again. Heartily recommend.

I recently visited this place and had a mixed experience. The ambiance and vibes are really good, making it a pleasant spot to hang out. The staff are friendly and helpful, which is a plus. However, the service at the restaurant could use some improvement. There was an issue where we were mistakenly served chicken despite being with vegetarian friends. Thankfully, I eat non-veg and was able to identify it before it became a bigger concern. Mistakes like this can be sensitive and should be avoided. The food itself was average--not too great, but not bad either. Prices were reasonable, so no complaints there. Overall, while the atmosphere and helpful staff are great, the dining experience could be better with more attention to detail.

Oh, I didnt realise the place is a resort and all. So this is primarily a Food review. We had ordered food via Swiggy, and it was mindblowingly good. So good, that I came on Google to post a review. The two different varieties of chicken kebab were succulent and tender, even after the long journey from Moodbidre to our village near Ganjimutt. Same for everything else we had ordered -- Neer Dosas, Tandoori Chicken, Roomali Rotis and Butter Naans. And the prices are very reasonable. We cant wait to visit Sampige to try out the delicacies in person. Thanks again to the cooks and overall management for this memorable culinary experience!
