Mavalli Beach Heritage Home

My mother and I spent a lovely week here in March. The home is absolutely beautiful , nestled among mango trees and a stone's throw away from the beach. The rooms were very spacious, and we even had a little balcony with a view of the beach, where we would sit and have morning coffee. The home is beautifully appointed with antique furniture and it feels like you are living in a 1920s home in Mangalore, but with all of the modern amenities you would like. And all of the meals we ate were beautifully prepared, locally sourced, delicious and so different than anything you might find in a hotel. But the best part of this vacation was the lovely family that owns this home. Raji, Devdas and Arjun made us feel so much at home and were so kind and welcoming. Evenings were often spent chatting on the balcony or playing carrom/chess with them. Every morning, Arjun and I would go for a long walk on the pristine beach nearby. And of course, the three adorable pups, Tessie, Tito and Kayser always kept us entertained with their antics. We came as strangers but left as family friends.

Our stay at Mavalli Heritage Home was truly memorable. The warm hospitality made us feel part of their family. The Home was well furnished and displayed antiques everywhere and Beach view from the Balcony was stunning.The service was exceptional. The specially was delicious and had a unique taste. Evenings spent chatting, laughing and playing chess and carrom with our hosts were the highlight of our stay The rates were very reasonable making it an excellent Money for Value Experience. We highly recommend the Mavalli Heritage Home to anyone looking for a warm welcoming Home Stay!

"MAVALLI BEACH HERITAGE HOME" stay is simply great. . It's near the beach. . . amazing view. . . The food too is yummy- delicious home cooked, served with . HOST too s very friendly & polite. They treat you like a family. It's well maintained , wooden interiors, antique furnitures. . . The rooms tooo are spotless clean n hygiene. . . This place is a gem to relax and reconnect yourself - it's like being in nature . . Music of birds, waves splattering. . good for family and friends. . Please do visit with your loved ones

Amazing stay didn't expect it. Had a great time and made a new friend. My stay at this homestay truly felt like home. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Arjun, who made me feel so welcome. Aunty was incredibly supportive and treated me like a member of the family, which made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a memorable experience where I felt at home. Highly recommend!

Foremost it is a Good, clean and safe place. Additionally a pleasant people with warm welcome and to be simple.. the home stay is feel at home. Stayed with my family for one day... I would say it's a perfect choice for families... It's located about 1 km from Murudeshwar Siva temple and very near to the beach... They served us super dinner (we ordered chappathi, dal fry and sauted vegetables) and the complimentary breakfast was awesome... The hosts were very cordial and the service provided is really appreciable....

A hidden gem of a place. Conveniently located just a short tuk tuk ride from the railway station. The hosts welcomed us into their home with open arms and made us all feel very relaxed and happy. The hosts were very helpful in suggesting places for us to visit and even arranged a taxi for us. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the home cooked food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend you stay here as opposed to the large impersonal hotels in the area.
