My wife hurt her leg and the staff immediately arranged a wheelchair and medicines for her. The luggage handling, check-in experience and dining experience were enhanced by the staff members. They even thoroughly cleaned my car before departure. Overall, the staff members were very friendly and courteous. |The rooms are spacious with good views. The beds were very comfortable. The TVs are smart TVs and WiFi speed is good. The common amenities like swimming pool are also good. The best part was live music and karaoke every evening. My daughter loved the place because it had rabbits and allowed pets (she could play with two very friendly and playful dogs brought by other guests). Highly recommended resort for a short get-away from Bangalore.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable - definitely one of the highlights of our stay. However, the hospitality was below average, primarily due to what seemed like a shortage of staff. There was no welcome or proper guidance provided during the check-in process, and we had to figure out parking and other logistics on our own. The breakfast menu was decent, offering a fair variety. Unfortunately, the dinner experience was disappointing. One night, a sudden change in the dinner arrangement (an a la carte decision instead of the buffet we had booked) was not communicated properly and wasn't appreciated. The location is decent and convenient enough. The swimming pool is large and well-maintained, which we enjoyed. Other facilities are fairly average and could use some improvement. Overall, while the rooms and pool were great, the service and dining experience left a lot to be desired. A bit more attention to hospitality and communication would significantly enhance the guest experience.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort -- everything was perfect from start to finish. This is one of the most beautiful properties of Taj.. It is lush green, very neat and picturesque. The Indian breakfast is good but there's not much choice for people who like English breakfast.. There's no variety of muesli or cereals.. Coffee is good but tea is not good.. The dinner buffet was excellent.. The spread catered to all kinds of palate.. The restaurant manager was sweet to make special bland food for my husband.. The local food is delicious, specially the bassaru, kodabu and chicken ghee roast.. Desserts are simple not really exotic only simple payasam, rawa ladoo etc.. Overall had a very comfortable stay..

The welcome went very well with Manjula and team showing warmth. They property is a gem with greenery. There is a beautiful swimming pool. We were celebrating our 10 wedding anniversary. Initially we were not upgraded but later Manjula informed us that they have upgraded us to a cottage - that was a kind gesture. The housekeeping was excellent. The decor of the property was classy and well-kempt. Food quality and variety could have been better esp Dinner as it needed reminders to fill the empty containers. Breakfast was good. The lighting in the Restaurant during dinner time could be better- it seemed very dull and dingy. The property round conducted by the staff (forget the name - he is from Darjeeling) was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and showed a lot of plants and explained their properties. High tea was good but not the best - the snacks were oily and limited in variety. The children loved the pool and cycling but they complained that the cycles were broken and there could have been one matching their age. They also missed a kids activity room which is usually a feature in such resorts. The checkout was smooth.Overall an excellent stay at a great property under the leadership of Mr Khan

My stay at this property was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the engaging activities for young children and the delicious dining experience, everything exceeded my expectations. While I've stayed at numerous Taj properties, this one stands out for its exceptional cuisine. The buffet selection, though limited, featured fresh, flavorful dishes prepared with the utmost care. I particularly appreciated the personalized service from Darshan at check-in, who ensured my request for an extended stay was met. The restaurant staff, Mr. Karthik and Mr. Deekshant, provided outstanding service and created a memorable dining experience. Their thoughtful gesture of packing snacks for my daughter on our departure day was a delightful touch. Finally, I commend Mr. Shadab, the General Manager, for his personal commitment to guest satisfaction. The entire team deserves recognition for their dedication to creating a truly memorable stay.

The resort is very boring. No views at all. Nothing much to do here. Don't believe the photos. ||Restaurant food in good but not worth the price. A normal starter is about 700 expensive than a 5 star hotel. A roti is 275/piece. Two course meal will cost you about 3500 with one starter, one main and breads. ||And yes not to forget Extra activities they charge you like so much. Coffee plantations tour is like 2800 per person. ||Massage centre is so old, the steam bath is given in a box. And beware there were lizards in the massage room. ||This is 2.5 star hotel charging for 5 star hotel pricing. ||Not worth spending 15000/ night. With food extra.

One of the finest hotels in Chikmagalur with Taj Brand. We were welcomed with a polite and gentle smile. Check in was quite quick. Rooms were neat and clean with all working modern amenities available. In room services were prompt. There are three restaurants ( Peaberry, Signature, Mukhwada) buffet breakfast and dinner was good. We enjoyed high tea near the swimming pool . Swimming pool was clean . Staff behaviour was excellent. Drivers food is available at a cheap rate .
