Stayed at this hotel for the first time. It's a relatively new property with clean bright rooms and is comfortable. The decor is rather basic but the minimalism works here giving a clean and hygienic feel. The service is good and staff are helpful. What stood out was the quality of food. We ordered dinner and the food was yum. Well priced too. The buffet breakfast on the other hand was very basic and not great. Overall a good place to stay if you are headed to Udupi or Manipal.

Exceptional Stay at Tea Tree Suites My recent stay at Tea Tree Suites was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, starting with a warm and welcoming check-in. Rooms: The room was impeccably clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The attention to detail--such as nightly turndown service and personalized touches--truly stood out. Service: The professionalism and friendliness of the staff were outstanding. From the concierge recommending hidden local gems to housekeeping ensuring every need was met, the team genuinely cared about creating a memorable experience. Location: The hotel boasts a prime location with stunning valley views, adding to the overall charm of the stay. Tea Tree Suites exceeded all expectations. It's rare to find a place that balances luxury, comfort, and personalized service so seamlessly. I'll definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a 4-star experience. I'm deducting one star due to a staff member repeatedly calling me to check out before the designated time. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
Stayed here solo for 2 nights. The experience has been quite good. Service is very good. Especially the service in the restaurant. The front desk and check in experience was good too. Rooms are well maintained. Mind the sharp edges of furniture attached to beds like closets. A niggling issue was with the lamp on top of the bed not switching off. Rest of the experience was great.
Worst experience and I would say "0" stars and stay away from this place. Let me describe the issues we had during our stay: 1) Staffs are from other states so they have no idea about Udupi or restaurant. For example, we ordered "hot milk" during dinner and the restaurant people doesn't know what it is. They called their captain, he came, listened to us and then translated in Hindi on what it is! 2) We also asked about Udupi temple darshan timings. To my surprise, no one had any clue - being in Udupi, they didn't even at what time the temple opens/closes. 3) Stay away if you are a pure vegetarian as they make omelet inside the dining area when the AC is on. We had a bad smell and tough time to eat food so asked if we can place 1 table outside of dining area. Again, no assistance was provided, we had to take food from buffet out for breakfast. 4) And here is the worst part, they charged 500 INR for a bathroom towel arguing it had "yellow" stains. This was because we use turmeric powder for bathing which will go away after 1 wash when you put the cloth in the hot sun. This is common sense but people are primarily focused on getting the money from the customer. Ofcourse, we can pay if it is for a valid reason. And we never had such a bad experience anywhere in our stay so far. I would recommend to stay away from this place as they are primarily money minded and doesn't seem to be worry about customer's comfort.
It is a centrally located hotel in Manipal with a good location. Staff are courteous. Property is well maintained. It is overlooking the valley with a magnificent view. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. It has a gym and a swimming pool. There is a restaurant and bar. We had breakfast at Ginger and Spice restaurant. Spread and preparation was good. Priyanka at the Front Office was very efficient and helpful.
Nice, clean and private property with some rooms having panoramic views. The food was good and the service was satisfactory.|A few suggestions:|- please change the floor mats in the elevators.....they are worn out and dirty|- must have simple items like mixed veg pakoras, energy drinks like Horlicks, Bournvita etc and milk shakes on your menu or at least be flexible to cater to such requests|- the breakfast buffet ran out of items and replenishment was not being done on time|Overall we enjoyed our stay here and will surely return.
We had booked 3 rooms for one night. Experience was wonderful. Kids enjoyed the comfortable room. Breakfast was tasty with enough options. Daughter loved the waffles. All in all we loved the the hotel.
