REALITY OF SATKAR PARADISE Worst place to live in manipal it's looking like castle from outside but after staying there for 8 months I am completely unhappy The most scariest thing is the rats.. there are more rats than people... A rat was crawling over the balcony glass door inside the room at morning 5:30 am I was alone in the room and it sounded like someone was knocking but to my shock I saw a rat... And the second unreasonable thing is the price 3 lakhs 10 thousand rupees without food and laundry, and aquaguard room is full of rats After paying so much in rainy season the only thing is it will feel like u are literally living in a mangrove.. cuz if ac is switched off water will humidify on the floor and surface and further lead to fungal infections and allergies... But the only good thing is the staff there especially housekeeping staff are very helpful Thank you so much to them. Planning to leave this place hence u also don't choose this hostel/hotel room!

Nice place!! The rooms here are quite spacious and has AC's installed in each of the rooms. The staff is very courteous here and the room service is pretty good as well. The ambience is quite pleasant and the price too is not very expensive. The downside though is the privacy as the rooms as visible to the nearby buildings. This is for the initial few floors only. Overall it's a nice hotel in terms of stay, service and price.

The property has good view and compact but nice rooms with a running balcony which is nice but could be a nuisance when you have to share with other occupants. Service is pathetic and so is the maintenance. We booked 2 rooms online and when we arrived at the property were asked to pay 1000 extra for AC rooms- fair enough we paid up - only to realize that the ACs in both rooms weren't working. We requested them to rectify it or shift us to other rooms and we left to go out. To our horror when we came back tired and wanting to just rest for an hour before we go out again we found that they had nothing about it (though at the reception we were assured that everything has been taken care of). After umpteen calls to the reception nobody came to solve the issue nor did they give us other rooms. Just requests happened for over an hour and finally only when we put our foot down they gave us just one room...all 4 of us sat there for another 45 minutes when they gave us another room on a different floor...so the family couldn't even stay together. Even the cleanliness was bad as the rooms had dust and patches- not expected out of a housekeeping staff of a decent hotel. When we lugged our bags here and there in different rooms thinking now we relax we noticed that there is no tea/ coffee, no soap/ shampoo... Intercom doesn't work...so another long wait before one can shower or have tea... phew. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Don't recommend this place at all.

Loved it ! The staffs are very friendly. The rooms are just as the pictures on Makemytrip app and a the rooms have A/C. The only downside I felt was that it's located inside a housing colony. I don't recommend taking rooms on the first few floors as the room can be viewed easily from the neighboring houses so I suggest you keep those curtains closed at all times. They do not have a restaurant, you will have to order it from outside restaurants. The menu can be found in the room itself.

It is a service apartment and the rates are reasonable. Rooms were good and AC was working well. It doesn't have a restaurant. However, many good restaurants are there nearby and they do delivery to the room. On the other side , bathrooms are small. Maintenance of the rooms are poor . Our room wardrobe didn't have a door at all! Service is also very poor. So better carry water bottles with you especially at night . The common balcony is also a bad idea . Make sure that the curtains are closed properly and the glass door is locked.

Service is good, rooms are spacious. However all rooms open on to a common balcony. One needs to carefully draw curtains to preserve privacy. Did not try the room service. Check towels for cleanliness. Two 500 mla water bottles are all that come with the room. Extra water is available at a nominal charge.

Booked the room based on trip advisor reviews and it didnt fail me. ||Simple, clean and neat room. It was spacious with all the facilities including a small pantry are to cook.||The staff and manager were courteous. Any request was fulfilled quickly.

The rooms are clean and neat. They do not have a restaurant so you will have to order food from outside. Although they do serve you coffee or tea when asked. If you wish to cook by yourself, they have a small kitchen with few utensils, induction stove, refrigerator and few cutlery. Room is comfortable for 2 people only.
