Parnakuti Homestay

Booked the rooftop for a private party. The owner and the staff is very accommodating and helpful. The venue is beautiful. You won't even need to do any decoration. The setup is already amazing. Food orders can be provided in advance. The rooms are also very clean and well-maintained. Views are excellent. The cute puppy and cat are an added bonus. Very friendly. They used to have more pets running around but looks like there are just 2-3 of these now. Would definitely recommend booking the rooftop for private parties of around 10-30 people.

Not very far from the main town yet very calm and serene. At a perfect distance from the bus stand, main town and the railway station. The service and hospitality was really warm. The caretaker was every bit helpful.

I was here with family mid Dec 2023. I opted for a 1BHK . Room was neat and clean. A large bathroom and big enough hall and pantry. Care taker is on-call , available at the homestay. Place is easy accessible from Manipal and Udupi towns. Little away traffic makes the stay traquila. Don't worry birds chirping in the greenary will wake you up early in the morning. Means, no alarm needed

Hidden House in Manipal. This place is particularly for a peaceful stay, peaceful get together; ||Woodland theme, Blissful Interiors. They have a small kind of hall for a meet-up.||Each room have different vibe and the room on the top floor is just amazing. Unique names are given for the rooms. ||We stayed there many times and care taker Mr. Dharmaraj is very helpful.||Prices are affordable. They don't have food options but you will get tea, coffees at any time. ||Highly Recommended.

Beautiful property, very well maintained and tastefully decorated. Extremely courteous staff. Owner Mr. Uday went out of his way to show us around the place and guide us for a short day trip. He even personally received us from the bus stand as we arrived very late. Clean washrooms and sheets. Perfect and pocket friendly place for a short vacation with friends. Highly recommended.

Good place. Will definitely recommend it. I had been with family and booked from Bangalore. Didn't know what to expect. After reaching this place was pleasantly satisfied. Neat rooms and great customer service. This is one of my go to place when I visit Manipal!

We stayed at Parnakuti, early Sept'22; got a room on the terrace top - the view is really beautiful, very soothing to the eyes - to say the least. ||||Like looking out of a prime property terrace, with a sweeping natural landscape in front of you.||||You realize being on a hill-top, looking down across a short forested valley - gazing over the town of Udupi, till your eyes meet the Sea at the horizon - where on the left, I spotted an island or perhaps, part of a bay & if you are look enough, there is a lighthouse too.||||Sit here with your favorite beverage and stare all day - dawn to dusk - as time appears to stand still. For us from the urban jungles, this is a repair & release experience.||||Occasionally, there's the soft humming of a train engine, as Udupi railway station can be seen in the distance, just after the forest area (with a temple) in between.||||The bungalow gives good vibes too - as you climb up, you pass a small house temple on the first floor, also housing the caretaker's family, with their kids happily playing around, and a few cheerful pets in the yard. ||||The town is just a bend away; if you want to make sure, just order from Zomato's, or call for a Rickshaw; Manipal lake's also within walking distance.

The owner is nice and well spoken, but the caretaker is as rude as they get!! Didn't bother cleaning properly. There was a huge cockroach in the room that he wouldn't deal with. Asked him to get our luggage at checkout and he outrightly refused!! And disrespect us!! That was our biggest grief, no one wants to go to a place and get disrespected and shouted at by the caretaker.. Now to the rooms proper, the location was the only good thing about the place. You have the caretakers kids playing right outside your room and shouting on top of their voice till late in night. No says anything to them. You pay so much for the place and you get nothing. Absolutely dreadful decision. Flimsy blankets, old dying mattress, poor toilet with damaged seats. And they provide nothing, absolutely nothing! For the amount you're paying You're only paying for the location and a large dose of getting disrespect from the caretaker.. Pathetic place Will not recommend it to anyone.
