Hotel Lake View

The lodge is okay for one day stay. The location is near to the lake ( just walkable distance). Dining is available within the premise.

I felt, by mistake I booked rooms in this hotel. Not at all hygiene. Bad smell, i wont suggest for family.

Place had roaches, lizards and some insects on wall but for the price, it's the best we can get

Best place to stay in budget. Located some far away to Udupi.

Lounge is good..but the lake view customers are mostly North Indian...

Rooms big enough for 3-4 people. Non AC rooms - 850 Rs , AC rooms 950 Rs , extra bed -150 Rs. AC room not recommended as water was dripping inside . Plus manipal is a very cool city , it keeps raining . Don't forget to bring your umbrellas. I noticed that they don't change bedsheets for a new guest , they just tuck it in tight and make it look like new. Wouldn't recommend using their towel either. Room has a Tv ,a cupboard (bring your own lock),phone and a water heater (installed in the bathroom). No slippers so bring your own if you don't like going into a bathroom barefeet. Bathroom essentials aren't provided so bring your own soap,shampoo , toothbrushes, toothpaste. They have a restaurant and a bar too . I recommend Anand Bhavan restaurant which is one kilometer away , walking distance. Food is a bit costly , tea costs 25 Rs so yeah.. ...go figure.

Had food seveveral time from here always very nice experience and nicely behaving staff

Not good for staying with family.
