Pratham Inn by Downtown Hotels

Absolutely pathetic place. Staff is rude. Rooms are terrible. No basic amenities provided. No dustbin. Asked for water and they replied "no room service". Overpriced for this below average rooms.

This is a decent, budget friendly hotel. The rooms were clean but the toiletries were not provided, except soap. I would not recommend families to stay here though because of the attached restobar and student crowd. It's located a bit far away from the main Udupi city.

The stay was horrible, the room was smelly and the overall room had a weird vibe to it. The cellar had a wet damp swampy smell and it stuck to our car. Its right over a pub and I would highly recommend to skip this and search for another place. Dont go by the pics

If you are visiting MIT - MAHE, then this is a good location. Taps in the bathroom sink can be better. The elevator needs work. Since the Bar is the main attraction, food to the room ain't big, but you can order in. I will definitely stay here again.

The new hotel staff, especially at the reception, is horrible! Very bad experience lately. Would not recommend this stay.

This place is just above a lounge bar and the night we stayed was very noisy. Loud music and party was going on which is actually a disturbance to the guests. We didn't order any room service so no comment Parking facility is not there which is a drawback Room was okay nothing luxury, a very simple room and decent bathroom

Very bad not good for family as there too noise as it is having pub below floor. Inevitably had to stay in this hotel last minute booking so . No breakfast not good at all . Only can say room is good. Badly managed facility . Amount is charged good amount only . Only staff is ok kind But facilities stay is not good at all . Meant good for bachelor/ people as they can opt lounge bars

The hotel has a really bad staff. Requested for an early check-in 2 days before and it was told that it's possible. On the day of check in the staff denied it. One of the staff literally said " I know my job please don't tell me about it". coming to the rooms, very unclean with spider webs and smell. Had to ask 3 times to clean it, even then they came after 30mins. Calling room service is useless. They respond after 1 hour. Had to ask for dustbin, handwash, paper towels, toiletries and so many other things. The worst part was the pub on the 1st floor of the hotel, which was super loud and made it uneasy to sleep. The music went on till 1am and on one of the days the cops had to come in. kindly do not stay in this hotel. It's cheap and affordable but comes with a ton of menace. Spend a little more and take a more comfortable and convenient hotel.
