It's one of the most comfortable places I've stayed at. The room is air- conditioned, with two comfortable beds (one single and one double) with soft blankets, a tv with regular channels as well as Netflix etc, an attached washroom, a refrigerator, a kitchen space with a double stove, microwave and water kettle ; they even provide cutlery and crockery. They have coffee, sugar and milk powder sachets as well. They have a laundry room as well. It's farther away from the noisy streets so noise is never a problem. The owners are always ready to help you any way they can. The place is filled with plants and is always beautiful in the morning! They also have a small portico outside the room with a table and chairs. Overall it's a very good place to stay at.

I had a wonderful stay at Sunny Smiles - a beautiful homestay nestled in a lush green setting with lots of flowering plants and peaceful vibes. The location is excellent, with plenty of good eateries nearby, making it super convenient. The host, Rohan, is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and responsive. The room is thoughtfully designed, it truly feels like home. It comes with a water purifier (no need to buy bottled water), a gas stove, a fridge, and even air conditioning - everything you need for a comfortable and self-sufficient stay. We also had the pleasure of meeting Coco, Rohan's adorable dog, she was super friendly and made the stay even more delightful! Another highlight was Rohan connecting us with Veeranna, a local autorickshaw driver. He was not just reliable and friendly, but also acted like a local guide, showing us some hidden gems of Mangaluru that we would have otherwise missed. Traveling around with a known and trusted local made a big difference to our experience. I would definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Mangaluru and highly recommend Sunny Smiles to anyone looking for a warm, homely, and convenient stay in the city!

We were a family of 3 that had visited and it was a very pleasant experience. Location was easy to find. Breakfast, snack and meal option was available at the mouth of the lane. Although we did not use it, I saw public transport was also available at a minute's walking distance. The room is placed behind the main house with a small and neatly kept open space in between. It was as shown in the photos and the amenities kept us very comfortably in the summer heat. Importantly, the beds were comfortable. There are thoughtful touches of the owner in the room. My 13 year old appreciated that the geyser seemed solar powered. But he especially enjoyed spending time with the pet turtles. Rohan, the owner, maintained seamless communication throughout and it was a pleasure interacting with him. He was generous with local information too. Any issue raised was looked into. While there's always room for further improvement, there's nothing worth talking about. Mangalore is a charming city to visit. So, was this house and the homestay. It is a place I will like to return to on my next visit.

The room was lovely, tidy, clean, and spacious compared to most hotel rooms. The bed was comfortable. It was great to have the fridge. The bathroom was clean too. We could use the washing machine which was perfect. Rohan made us feel very welcomed and had some great recommendations for restaurants as well. Also the location was convenient, and around the corner there were always rickshaws waiting to bring us to any place in the city.
