We went to this hotel and it was literally a whole vibe. Everything felt peaceful and pretty, like a Pinterest board in real life. The rooms were super clean and the food? Chef's kiss. Staff were so sweet, made us feel super welcome. Honestly, I'd go back in a heartbeat--loved every second.

We stayed in the hotel for two days. We were welcomed warmly in the reception and the staff debriefed to us about the details of the stay. We were very excited about the fitness centre facility and the stream bath facility. One of the staff members took us to the room.||The room came with basic amenities, a refrigerator, an electric iron, and washroom with necessary toiletries. And, any support was available through a phone call to the reception. Everything looked much cleaner. The room electrification for lighting and airconditioning were done with modern sophisticated switches. The rain shower in the washroom was very warming.||Staff was very helpful in arranging the steam bath for us. The steam bath was very refreshing.||Breakfast contained a variety of options. The food also tasted very well. A live counter for getting dhosa, eggs and parathas was also good.||More importantly, the hotel is situated in a great location, very close to Mangalore central railway station. It is on a very lively locality. So many important locations are easily accessible.||And finally, we found the hotel to be our home in Mangalore as we were treated really well. Whenever we were tired after going out in the city and finally arrived at the hotel, we felt so relieved.||Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would like to stay again once we visit Mangalore.
Clean rooms, front desk and staff were courteous. Many eateries are within walking distance. The breakfast menu was just about ok, taste wise it has come down a notch.
We had the best stay. Rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean. Morning complimentary breakfast had lot of varieties and tasty too. Had a complimentary steam bath too in our package. Staffs are very kind, polite, friendly and helpful...
The front office staff, Srikanya and Sheetal, and all at the 5th floor buffet staff, including the bearded chef, and the housekeeping staff, are extremely sweet and helpful. We had to stay a bit longer due to the flight timings for which they very sweetly agreed. Loved staying here! Will stay there again.
Staying at Royal Plaza was magical. Rooms are well equipped with modern technology. Spacious, comfy along with tea maker, dryer and what not. Every penny spend on the room was worth it. As they say, best things come with price. I would definitely recommend this home away from home to couples, families, senior citizens. Last but not least... the breakfast was like buffet with South Indian Varities, fruits, juices...ofcourse there is kellogs and all... amazing. Totally worth it !!!!!
This was a last minute stopover that I took and in my hurry even botched the booking and didn't even realise it that I booked two single beds instead of a double bed. The hotel was the one that informed me of my mistake and before I could apologize and ask for anything they upgraded my family and me to a premium room. The room was spacious, clean, and had a warmth that felt cost and my family enjoyed the stay as well. The breakfast was also quite good. Overall a very relaxing experience for a last minute decision.
We (family of 3 adults) stayed in a "junior suite" for 3Nights. The junior suite is a little compact for 3 adults, but functionally well equipped with all one needs, including air conditioning, extra bed, king sized double bed, two TVs (with all channels functional). The hotel is well located near a prominent city landmark(Mangalore central railway station). Hence, easy to locate. Hop in and hop off metered autos available in "hail an auto mode" make local travel in Mangalore very easy for tourists. The hotel provided us a handly list of recommended places to travel to. The hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Breakfast buffet from 8am to 10am was good, with minor menu changes daily and with a live counter for preparation of eggs, omlette, utthapam, dosa etc apart from cereals, idli, wada, halwa, mangalore bun, pasta, bread butter, juices, shakes, tea and coffee. Guests who stay longer than 3 nights at a stretch may however start to find the breakfast menu getting a little monotonous. The housekeeping sevices were prompt with the room, bedding etc always maintained immaculately clean. Bathroom and shower area was clean, but could do with more clothes hanging hooks. The in house restaurant called Coconut Groove now only serves breakfast. However, the hotel provides in-room dining through sourcing food from other restaurants. The street where the hotel is located has plenty of eateries, so access to food is not a problem at all. All in all, the royal plaza suites lived up to the 4 star hotel experience we expected and we would certainly visit them again.
