Metro Plaza Hotel by RAK Rooms, Mangaluru

Recently I have stayed here for 2 days. The rooms were good, spacious, and clean. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast is good and there are sufficient options for all kinds of appetites. I checked out at 9:00 am and left my luggage there saying I will pick up my luggage in the evening. But I forgot my charger in the room. When I went to pick my luggage, before I asked for anything about the charger, the front desk staff put my charger in front of me saying I forgot my charger in the room. I didn't expect this and it happens very rarely. The staff here are kind, helpful and genuine. Thanks for keeping my charger safe. Next time I will book the same hotel for staying.

Recently we have stayed in executive room of this hotel. Hotel Royal Plaza is at very good location. On the main road where you can get all transport facilities. Rooms are very small in size. The rooms are neat and clean with all required amenities provided such as hot water, kettle tea bags, drinking water bottles of 1 litre and toiletries. Room AC condition was good but AC remote condition was not good. However hotel Staffs are very good and polite. Hotel wifi connectivity was not that good. They are providing breakfast as complementary which is good. But breakfast taste is average. Breakfast is free for kids. Overal hotel is ok and can stay for a short trip.

Stayed in Metro Plaza Hotel for 2 nights during our family trip to Mangalore. Booked 2 rooms for our stay (Executive room and Deluxe double room) . Executive room is satisfactory but the Deluxe double room was very spacious. 1. It was a last minute booking through make my trip. Since, the hotel was just next to railway station, there were apprehension regarding the property/ quality of rooms but the standards of rooms were exceptional. 2. The staffs were cooperative and friendly. They also provided early check-in as per my reqmt at nominal rates. 3. Rooms were very hygenic and spacious. Breakfast spread was great and delicious.

I had a wonderful stay at Metro Plaza Hotel in Mangalore. The hotel is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the central railway station, making it ideal for travelers. The breakfast offered is generous and a great opportunity to explore Indian cuisine. The staff is exceptionally professional, friendly, and always greets guests with a smile. A special thank you to Ananya and Renuka for their assistance in booking my bus to Kochi and for their helpful recommendations on local tourist attractions in Mangalore. I will definitely return to this hotel, which beautifully reflects the history of Mangalore.

Hotel is in prime location and price also affordable and complimentary breakfast was really good. Basic amineties they provided and service was awesome. In rooms some cockroach issues are there other than that everything was fine.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 days. Rooms are clean and maintained. Staff is kind and polite. We have complementary breakfast served at the hotel downstairs and the breakfast is good too. Hotel is situated at a walking distance from Mangaluru central station which is even more convenient.

We took an executive room which was quite spacious with a king size bed sufficient for three people. Staff was helpful with small things like making missing setup box available and making cricket channel available to see the champions trophy final promptly. The breakfast spread was quite elaborate and enjoyable. We booked through MakeMyTrip and will recommend the same mode as it is cheaper than at the counter. Reception staff are cordial and try to help you within their powers to make your stay comfortable. There are quite a few restaurants around too which you can explore. There is also a DMart store at a walkable distance to get all essential items. Will recommend the hotel for family and business stays. It is at a good location near Central railway station in Attavar area.

Rooms are great but wifi experience was bad. They give access codes in order to use wifi which keep expiring multiple times a day, and need to call reception each time to request a new one. I need to check work emails early in the morning only to find that new code is required. Will not recommend this hotel if you intend to work remotely.
