Grand Tamim Hotel

It is a really good hotel (lodge)... Really safe location and very attentive staffs... Room is quite spacious and is absolutely spic and span so 100/100 in respect to hygiene, service.... Definitely recommended .... Bonus: They have basement parking as well

I had a horrible experience at Grand Tamim Hotel.. Bed was full of ants on asking to clean they only changed bed sheet with another dirty bed sheet and didn't even clean the room. And there was no water whole night, on asking for water receptionist asked me to change Hotel in the the midnight as I denied go change Hotel in midnight he said by morning water will be arranged but again morning there was no single drop of water. After requesting to provide two buckets of water he made me wait for more than a hour then just gave one bucket water which was not sufficient at all. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel room exceeded my expectations with its clean and spacious accommodations, comfortable bed, and excellent amenities, making for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The friendly and attentive staff, convenient location, and overall value for money further solidified.

I could seriously live here for a few months. Great city, great bicycle shop nearby and great staff. I'll be back next year-for longer keep up the great work and maybe you might get a small fridge for rooms? The rooms are clean the beds are firm, the shower is great, and the new tv work! The rooms are maintained to a European standard, a kettle provided on request. The is ashop for a nice bottle of wine should you like that only 400 meters away. The hotel provides a great take away service that is well priced.

Great budget stay in a convenient location! I stayed here for 3 days to attend a wedding event. Pros: 1. Clean rooms and linens. Air conditioning was also very cold and made our stay even more comfortable. 2. Separate basement parking(B2) only for hotel guests. 3. Close proximity to eateries and malls(within 3 to 4 kms). 4. Friendly and helpful staff. 5. Ability to order food from delivery apps and get doorstep delivery without any restrictions. They also provide tableware for eating. 6. Cleaning is done daily but we didnt opt for it since we were out of the room most of the time. Instead, we asked that the trash be cleared out before we left which they obliged without any hesitation. 7. Security is good as you get your own key. In case you need to get the room cleaned while you are out, you have to leave the key with the reception before leaving. Cons: 1. Wifi felt slow most of the time so if you plan to work from here, you are better off using your own Wifi hotspot which is definitely faster as you get Airtel 5G signal here(Jio was only getting 2 bars and was slower). 2. Toilet doesn't have handwash. They only provide 2 mini soap bars for bathing. So we had to purchase a handwash from a nearby pharmacy. 3. The day we checked in, they allocated us a room without a single window which was suffocating to stay in. Upon requesting a room change, we were given another room the following day once the room was vacant without any hassle and this room had a proper window and was much better and was much more comfortable. 4. The hotel is located on the topmost floor(6th) of the Kankanady Gate building off Kankanady Bypass road. The hotel is peaceful and you don't get any sound of traffic. But the con here is that for some reason, the building is designed in such a way that you cannot come from the basement parking directly to the hotel in a single lift. Instead, you have to take the lift from B2 (which is the parking for the guests only) to the ground floor and take another lift from there till the 6th floor. This was quite annoying to say the least and was a major drawback. Also if you arrive back to the hotel late at night, you would find the basement lifts to be switched off for some reason and you need to walk 2 floors up(B2 -> B1 -> G) and then take the lift till the hotel which was quite frustrating when you have a long day and a tiring event and you return to the hotel only to find yourself walking two floors up. I was quite shocked when I saw this 2 lift system and it messed up the other positive things of this property. Overall, to conclude, this hotel is quite good for the price bracket and it offers basic amenities for most people. My intention is not to badmouth the hotel, but to ensure that the issues that I had faced should be known by anyone who is planning to stay here so that it may avoid any unexpected hassles for them and make their stay a comfortable one.

Stayed two days with the family. Rooms were clean, service was excellent. Only drawback is the water heater in the bathroom was small. Helping staff and reception. Easily accessible. Loved the stay. Value for money.

Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. It is one of the best stays we had. We were group of 10 and enjoyed stay. Budget friendly stay.
