Ginger Mangalore

After our 5hrs of long flight we went to ginger and we had booking confirmation still we asked to wait we reach the hotel at 8:35pm and got the room keys at 11:00pm pathetic service experience. The girls from the reception again and again asking for booking confirmation and after checking everytime they wear asking to wait. After that the first room they gave us was on the ground floor the room was not clean it doesn't have curtain on the window and I said I don't wanna stay at the room which is not clean and not in good condition they again ask us to wait on the reception and then allocate the room at 11:45pm . Very bad experience we had and 7days prior corporate booking we had. We at our company also suggest to never recommend the hotel to any employee going forward. Train your people for the service they all look very confused and not clear with there job

For the budget travelers this place is completely worth the money. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious with onsite dining. We stayed one night on arrival into Mangalore and one night prior to departure. Staff were efficient and courteous.

It has been a great experience for us at Ginger Mangalore for the stay. I must admit that all the staff treated us really well and professionally. The entire front office staff were really serving us with a smile. I know where to stay when I visit Mangalore next. Thanks and regards

overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is well-located, offering easy access to key attractions in the area. The lobby and common areas are modern and well-maintained, setting a positive tone from the moment you walk in. And the staffs was helped a lot The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a mini-fridge. The bed was especially comfortable, providing a restful sleep after a long day. I also appreciated the efficient room service, which was prompt and friendly. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The spread was varied and delicious, with both continental and Indian options available. The staff at the restaurant were courteous and attentive, ensuring guests had everything they needed. However, there were a couple of areas where improvement could be made. The bathroom could have been a bit more spacious, as it felt slightly cramped. Additionally, while the hotel offers good value, some of the amenities, like the gym, could benefit from some upgrades. In terms of service, the staff were mostly professional and helpful, though there was a minor delay at check-in. Overall, my stay at Hotel Ginger was comfortable and enjoyable, and I would recommend it to others seeking a good balance of quality and affordability. With a few minor tweaks, it could easily offer an even better experience.

I had a terrible experience at Ginger Mangalore. Did not expect this from a big brand for the money I paid per night. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (Dec 22-25th, 2024) and found that the room was poorly maintained with a broken sink, cockroach infested bathroom and the worst thing was the lack of response from the hotel management to rectify this issue and provide another clean room. THOSE LOOKING FOR A CLEAN and HYGIENIC Room with even decent amenities please stay away from this hotel. I was offered around 2k out of a total of 15k which I had paid for the 3 nights so that I do not post the pictures of the outdated rooms and cockroaches in the bathroom. I respectfully denied it. Sharing here so that other travelers don't face similar issues. When I approached the person at the reception upon noticing the lack of cleanliness in the room, I was told that the hotel was sold out for the night and that nothing could be done. I showed a picture of the cockroaches in the bathroom to which they expressed regret but did nothing about it. I requested to speak with the manager and was told he wasn't in the property and that he would give me a call as soon as he reached the hotel. Did not hear back from the manager until the next morning when I had to call him again myself by getting his number from the front desk. Very disappointing that the manager chose to not even call and try to help us with the poor facilities being provided. On my last night at 10pm, I was offered to move to a better room when I was already dead tired and was going to check out at 5am to head back home.

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Reception Staff. I recently stayed at Ginger Mangalore, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what truly made my stay special was the exceptional service provided by the reception staff. From the moment I arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Mr.Vinod and Miss Athira went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, offering great recommendations and making the check-in/check-out process seamless. Their professionalism and friendliness made me feel truly valued as a guest. I highly recommend Ginger Mangalore to anyone looking for a great stay with top-notch hospitality.This property is hardly 500 meters from NH 66. I will definitely be returning in the future!

This hotel is dreadful. The rooms were absolutely filthy, there was dirt in the shower, dust on the floor and dead bugs in the bathroom. The shower tiles still had dirt on them when we checked in. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room was so filthy I didn't want to unpack my bag to avoid anything touching the room. The room as tiny, not enough room for 2 people and their bags, and the fridge didn't work. WiFi didn't work on the third floor. It was raining on checkout and the sloping tiles at the entrance was so slippy it was a hazard as both of us nearly fell. Nothing to complain about the staff, and location was good just off the national highway.
