The location for the hotel is great due to its in-city location. Rooms are well kept, simple not too fancy while not luxurious. I wouldn't exactly call it budget friendly. They seem to strictly follow 12 to 12 rule, so you end up paying for an extra day or two if your travel schedule is not aligned. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Very pathetic experience at emporium hotel in Mangalore. We booked for 4night 5days but we vacated after 3night only because all 3days we couldn't sleep because of too many bed bugs and mosquitoes, if you want to sleep at night- don't go to this hotel. That staff is also not helpful and that owner guy I think he blames us only we opened window so mosquito came inside but when we checked in only it was there , very rude people and bad rooms. Bed sheets and blankets are not washed from long time. Visible dust on walls and tables and wardrobe, table sofa are all waste, not clean and not usable. Overall very ugly experience. We are paying him money, we are not staying there for free, so don't waste your money by booking rooms there.

The hotel is located at central place in Mangalore. Though there was no restaurant in it, there are plenty of eating options in the surrounding. The hotel was equipped with necessary facilities and also serve food ordered from outside.

I made an online hotel booking with the option to add complimentary breakfast for 326 The manager gave us a coupon for 150 inr for all 3 people for the two days at a nearby restaurant I had to cover the remaining amount We skipped the second day as the restaurant wasn't good and if anyways we are paying we can buy elsewhere After talking with them and make my trip Neither was willing to accept the fault

My stay at Hotel Emporium in Hampanakatta, Mangalore, for a business trip left much to be desired. Firstly, the state of the rooms was disheartening as they were noticeably dirty and poorly maintained. To add to the inconvenience, the doors in the hotel lacked proper locks, compromising security and privacy. The malfunctioning electric sockets posed a significant issue, making it challenging to charge devices or use essential electronics. Attempts to address these concerns with the staff were met with an unexpected level of aggression, both from the regular staff and the management, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. Furthermore, the overall lack of professionalism and courtesy from the hotel's personnel significantly detracted from the supposed hospitality experience. It's disheartening to note that a hotel in a prime location failed to meet basic standards of cleanliness, security, and customer service. For future business trips, I would strongly advise exploring alternative accommodation options in the area.

One of the worst experiences I have had in my entire life travelling given the fact that I have been to umpteen hotels in my life domestically and internationally. After seeing positive reviews on Agoda and Google I decided to book this hotel since it seemed near to Jyothi Circle the main hub of Mangalore. The young receptionist was polite enough with the formalities but here starts our horror. First off Breakfast was complimentary but apparently there was a catch with it. Only Rs. 75 per head was allocated as breakfast and we are supposed to order in from Shiv Sagar. Barely a dosa would come in that amount and not even tea. The bathroom was super super congested. It's like you sit on the toilet and the basin is half on your body. The legs are beneath the basin and you barely manage to sit. Very uncomfortable. The rooms look very very old. The bed is highly uncomfortable with the springs pricking your back. There's no telecom to count the reception. After serving breakfast the bell boy comes and suggests to switch on the AC and to our horror even the AC wasn't working after 30 minutes. There was no cooling. Disgusted we just decided to cancel our booking informing the young receptionist boy and he agreed. The main rowdyism starts now. The hotel owner comes and shouts at us saying we'll have to pay the complete charge cause we stayed in the room for an hour. But we had already informed the receptionist that we don't want to continue since we are disgusted by the quality we faced compared to the price we paid. The owner disagrees and continues with his hooliganism denying the fact that the boy is a newbie and isn't aware of the rules. He argued saying how can you use the washroom and then decide to not like? We were just playing dumb and wanted to misuse their services while the truth is the AC not working was what made us think otherwise and not continue. We simply said once your staff came in and switched on the AC we understood the condition of the hotel and were highly disappointed. Until then we had already used the washroom and after that his shouting had stopped. We just paid for the breakfast and left and instead of rectifying his shabby hotel and accepting the fact and offering hospitality towards their guest the owner simply shows his class by shouting like a loafer with my mom. Highly disgusted and disappointed. Being our first day in Mangalore and facing such stupidity just ruined the day for us. Thankfully we booked a room at Grand Plaza Hotel at Rs.2200 by just paying 200 bucks extra and enjoying luxury. AVOID DEFINITELY AVOID THIS. Ph cherry on the top is in order to vent out his frustration he simply fired the newbie boy and screamed and cursed him. Awful human.

BEST HOTEL IN THE CITY. The Hotel room was clean, nice, spacious and well maintained. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect and also it is located in the heart of city.

the hotel is at a good place. I think the rates don't justify the services, but overall it was good... the linen was clean the staff are good. Though they forgot to give us breakfast, they are cooperative. and the room wall had some tea splash stains.
