I had an incredible experience at AJ Grand Hotel! The hospitality was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The service was top-notch, with every detail carefully considered. The rooms were spotless, and the amenities were fantastic. I especially appreciated the warm, friendly staff who made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious stay with outstanding service. Will definitely be back!

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms and nice furniture. It has two good restaurants, one being full vegetarian. The food is very nice and fresh, a bit spicy for my taste but I still enjoyed both restaurants very much. One big Thanks to all the staff, all were very kind and helpful with each and every request I had. Many thanks to the restaurant staff who allowed me to still have breakfast although I arrived late after a hospital appointment and prepared a very nice breakfast for me. And many thanks to Prathigha and Chaithea and the rest of the reception staff ( unfortunately, I do not know their names). All personnel are clearly trained for customer satisfaction. The only smallest thing I would add is just to add a few fresh cut veggies and maybe yogurt for breakfast. Thank you All for such a nice stay.
One of the best Corporate hotels. Stayed here for 4 days. My husband had a business trip and I had a good peaceful stay here and it was spacious enough to work. Housekeeping promptly cleans your room every day and very kind(give them a raise). Food prices for room service can be reduced a bit. Used swimming pool, pool is bit smaller, in case you are a lap swimmer here you will complete lap in 10 sec. I would say pool just for fun. Complimentary breakfast has good variety of food. Located centrally so easy to get autos for travel.
Comfortable stay since it's close by to all of things. The service wasn't that great since we asked them to clean the room twice at a particular time but it was not done till 11:00PM. The food is expensive so will not recommend to eat food in the hotel. Although the dishes served for lunch is good. We had the complementary breakfast which was terrible. The service for breakfast is disorganised too.
Check-in was super fast. Staff very friendly and courteous excellent customer service by the entire team.bed is not sparkling white but looks dirty . My room was in second floor, and ti could hear continuous loud music, from the pub or the banquet Hall, which requires immediate attention of the management. This was a real disturbance, especially in the nights at the breakfast festival. There were flies on the cut fruit slices in breakfast, dining room. staff require training and counselling as they say a blunt . no if we ask for items which are not available .a polite no would be better .overall the place is good to stay & worth the money but for these minor issues .SPA needs a re look as guests preferences are overlooked despite charging heavily .
This hotel is just amazing, be it the hygienic and fancy rooms, delectable food in their restaurants or all the other amenities here, everything was top notch. Their staff are very polite as well. If you are in Mangalore, and you need a luxurious stay with a spic and span room, this hotel is the right choice.
Really Poor attitude and service there with a hostile approach to customers. The Bathroom shower door was not closing properly. The Morning Breakfast was a Real Bad experience. I had taken a Pav and the Bhaji. The duty manager there informed me it was missal pav from Pune. I tasted it and found that the Pav and the Bhaji was no where close to Missal Pav like Pune. The taste was pretty Bad. I had taken a Doughnut there too.The doughnut Tasted horrible, found to be Spoilt and Old stock. I immediately informed the Concerned duty manager there with a black suit to check it. Without much sign of interest he took all the doughnuts inside the kitchen, later came out and just nodded his head until I asked him what was the reason, then he informed me that the reason was that they mixed the old stock with the new one and has turned out like this. I asked him don't you'll check before keeping it out for the customers. He just very casually said it was a mistake and can happen. I informed him how can it happen without quality check being a star hotel. He unfortunately just said the same again casually that the old stock was mixed by mistake. I don't understand how these pass through the audits and if they have one. It looks like they don't really understand the Big implication it could cause on our health as customers and how to behave with customers, as there was neither an immediate upfront apology for the issue caused also following that, he walked away without any thank you, for me pointing it out to save other customers too from have this spoilt Doughnuts, atleast. later I asked for a filter coffee. He took a cup and poured it from the container and told me to have this coffee. I told him this is not Filter coffee as it was light, thick and milky with very less coffee. He kept telling me this is filter coffee and this is how they do it. I took a sip of it and had to leave it on the table as I could not have it further. I wonder being in South India they don't have a clue of what is filter coffee. The attitude, service and especially the Breakfast has to be Big time improved there. Perhaps totally revamped. Having stayed in several locations across the country this Breakfast experience has been A very poor one being a Star Hotel. Looks like he has no clue of what is going on there except collecting people's room numbers for registration. I complained about this issue to the lady in the front desk asking for the General Manager and she informed me thay he is not there and talked to the duty manager. The Lady in front desk said she would inform the GM and keep me posted of what will be done about this. I am not sure how serious they are about it. This was an unfortunate unexpected Bad Experience from AJ Grand for the kind of service and attitude. Very Disappointing!!
We stayed there very recently and had a great time. Interestingly, just next to the hotel there is a school and we could see the nice program performed by the students just before the Christmas break. The room service is very prompt and I liked the way you can just switch on either room service or do not disturb light. We ordered dinner in our room a couple of times and the food was great.
