Sagar Homestay - Mangalore

The room is good and place is very silent and available at affordable price. However, the local beach/seashore is not great to play in the water as it is dangerous. You can just sit on the rocks at the beach and enjoy the beauty of sunset. You need to catch an auto to go to the nearest bus stop at Sankolige.

We stayed here for a night and the overall experience is very disappointing. Pros: Located right off the beach lot of open space, bit of greenery... Ultra cons: Entering the lane in a big car (XUV500) needs some serious driving skills else you will end up denting or scratching your car. Driven XUV for 40k kms... Parking is very narrow, u enter the compound with 2-3 inches width.... No scope for U turn also, getting in and out is adventurous but not fun Room doesn't have mirror, toiletries, Towel, fan regulator doesn't have control, no remote for AC (500 Extra for AC) Million mosquitoes for company which means your sleep is spoilt Attender comes after calling him 100 times and is high on attitude... He gives dinner plates after calling him 4 times... And he says wash the plate and eat.... Also no direct contact with attender need to call owner all the time who in turn takes a while to fix it....m Won't recommend unless u hv no choice... 3k is not worth it

The worst room ever tried with no hot water,AC, security and no hygiene and care take care is arrogant and maps are confusing none to guide.the food options are very limited but Swiggy/Zomato is working.

Over priced, I stayed at the homestay for one day with my family and complained the incharge that there was ant powder all over the place and smelled bad. He said if I want I could stay or just leave since I had pre-booked and already paid half the amount I ended up staying felt very bad by their behavior

Located within 50 meters to Ullal beach. Around 2km from Ullal railway station. You will get auto and cabs from Mangalore railway station also. Rooms are clean and airy. The hall is quite big, but the rooms are a little small. Someswara beach and temple are also around 2-2.5 km. Overall, far from the din bustle from the main city it's a very calm place to spend your weekend in the vicinity of the Arabian sea.

It's located right next to ullal beach and 1 and half km from main road . It's best place to stay and enjoy the sunrise and sunset near the beach. Reasonable price and recommended for couples or friends to spend quality time in private beach

We have booked for entire family during enquiry they mentioned that 4 rooms and nearby eateries are available but when we reached we found that it's located for from hotels and shopping places and only one room with attached toilet. Other 2 rooms are having single bed and no toilet then main kitchen is converted in to bedroom with toilet. For dinner we asked to contact near by neighbour to arrange the food they agreed for affordable price otherwise we need to order it in swiggy or Zomato. It is only suitable for individual who like to stay in home like environment. Pros: location very near to beach Cons: parking, reaching and food

Location is near to sea.. It feels you like real home. Owner was super friendly. Even in the night they called us to ensure we are good and enjoy and said if any problem just call anytime.
