Sulo Villa

This is a basic home with very minimal toiletaries/necessities in room. The room itself is very small. The bed was bad and the towels felt very used and worn out. The AC in the room didn't work in the night and so did the fan. The caretaker said there is a voltage issue. Being a humid place, it was a major discomfort for my family. Even the provided food was from a hotel. The price of 5k for the place felt totally unjustified considering all these cons. The only plus of this place is that it is close to the beach if that is what you are looking for.

Ahh.. what a beautiful experience we had at this villa. It's right on the most famous Malpe beach, with most of the rooms providing ocean view from the windows. The host Rajkumar's hospitality was very warm and comforting. Villa was very neat and clean with a soothing ambiance clubbed with all the basic facilities. You get to see peacocks in the lawns and backyard. I would love to come back if I am visiting Udupi again.

Stayed at Sulo Villa for 3 nights. Property is 20 meters from the beach, its a fantastic homestay, good breakfast and a wonderful caretaker family. Rajkumar and his wife keep the place spic and span! They r sweet and gentle. You can use the kitchen and their utensils. Made khichidi and eggs for our kids on all the nights. One can lounge around different places in the house, wrap-around verandah as well as the garden gazebo. The view of the sea from the upper floor rooms is the cherry on the top! Free wi-fi, morning breakfast and tea/coffee on order. Swiggy delivery for lunch n dinner. The place is just walking distance (7 mins) from the main Malpe beach market. So the market is accessible, while the beach in front of the villa remains absolutely clean and beautiful, with white sands n coconut trees. 100% recommended! Having your own vehicle is helpful as its a bit far from the main road.

Property is really good and well maintained by the caretaker Rajkumar and he is very sweet and polite. During our stay Rajkumar served us a delicious North Indian breakfast which we really liked it. Property is 300m walk away from the sea and also you get a nice ce sea view from the property.

Visited last week . No other guest was there so it was like whole villa to ourself.Room was bedroom 1 with sea view on first floor and it was perfect. Though rooms are small but as it is villa we can use common space for extra luggage on first floor. Rooms are clean. Caretaker is very good and prompt. He has taken special order for our toddler on break fast. Breakfast is limited but tasty. Also we ordered veg dinner from them . It was perfect simple and delicious. Breakfast and dinner is north Indian. Location: besides the malpe beach . Infront of villa beach is at walkable distance with less crowd . It is kind of like pvt beach. Currently work is going on at neighbouring homestay which is causing noise so do avoid or ask prior about it. I'll definately prefer again in future .

It was a pleasant stay at sulo vila, rajkumar ji has done a very nice hospitality. Breakfast too was really really good. One can use their Kitchen so we have cooked magie, popcorn and tea their. It a 10/10 property.

A perfect location and well designed space very near to the beach. A good and well balanced delicious breakfast. enough parking for guests. I definitely recommend this place to friends and families.

Recently stayed at Sulo Villa and had an amazing experience! Located just a stone's throw away from Malpe beach, the beachfront villa offers mesmerizing views. Our sea-facing room was perfect for enjoying the serene beauty of the sea. The availability of parking space was a big plus. Rajkumar and his wife, the caretakers, were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and their delicious home-cooked meals made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Sulo Villa for a relaxing getaway by the beach!
