Hotel Vindya Homestay

1. Good location and staff behaved well. 2. We were shown different rooms while booking and we got different rooms. 3. Room and toilets were not clean, we found cockroaches, bugs and spider webs. Stench thoughout the night due to dirty beds and bedsheets. They did not have room freshners. 4. AC was not working, we felt it only had the blower. 5. The staff kept on asking the payment in full multiple time without even allowing us to settle down. Over all I suggest not to book the room in advance, you can go in person and go ahead only if you like the room. No value for money.

While booking most of the Pictures are showing villas but the rooms are in different building. The 3 floor building in the entrance portion have most rooms. But it is not mentioned anywhere in the booking sites. The rooms are very small and not given much privacy. The curtains are not effective to block sun light. Not having enough parking facilities other than road side portions. Location is near Malpe beach and walkable distance from room. The restaurant mentioned near homestay are not effective and working time is not useful. Outside food is not allowed but offerd during booking via booking sites. The name need to change because it can't be considered as homestay.

Horrible stay. Property has not been maintained at all. Just waste of money. The bathroom stinks and is clogged. They don't even dust the room when they give to customers. Room full of cobwebs. The bedsheets are dirty. They don't provide towels.

Homestay is very near to maple Beach is the best advantageous thing.. stay is little old and some smell was around the room.. I request to improve the cleaning aspects and many items in the home stay need to be upgraded as per latest requirements, especially restroom.

Location is good as its very near the Malpe beach (around 500 meters.)Also peaceful. Although the property is old and not well maintained and smelly. We booked family room, but recieved Cottage with 2 bedrooms due to non peak days. The cottage was not well maintained. We first had thought of spending two days here but looking at the condition of the property we decided to move out next day. after spending the night. Having said that Care taker person was attentive and helpfull. He quickly took action by spraying room freshners after I complain about bad smell in the room.

Room is small... Stayed 2days and faced electricity problem in midnight.... AC was not working on DG backup...

Very comfortable place to stay and very close to the beach
