We had an absolutely wonderful stay at His Grace! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The place was spotless, warm, and inviting -- truly a home away from home. It didn't feel like we were staying somewhere else; it felt like our own space. The host was amazing -- incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything. Their hospitality made a big difference and added a special touch to our entire experience. Every detail was taken care of with love and care, making our stay not only comfortable but memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend His Grace to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean, and welcoming place to stay!

Really worth the stay. You get a sort of secluded tent that we booked which was enjoyable, with immediate access to the beach. You also get to use the fireplace which you have to inform well in advance along with a payment of around 500. Great place to have a night with the friends. Definitely recommend.

Horrifying Experience at His Grace Sea Cottages and Villa Udupi - A Nightmare Stay I rarely leave reviews this long or harsh, but the experience at His Grace Sea Cottages and Villa Udupi was so appalling that it demands to be shared as a warning to others. From the moment we arrived, the problems began. The rooms were not ready, and it was immediately clear that basic amenities were missing. There was no fan, no air conditioning, and to our shock, no power backup at all. The heat was unbearable, and when the power went out (which it did frequently), there was absolutely no response or support from the staff unless you argued or begged for it. This level of negligence is unacceptable for any accommodation, let alone one that markets itself as a "villa" or "cottage retreat." To make matters worse, there was no refrigerator in the room, which is a basic necessity in the Udupi heat, especially for families with kids or elderly guests. Room cleaning was non-existent during our entire stay. We had to request even the most basic things like towels and toilet paper multiple times yet not provided- and most of the time, we were met with indifference or ignored completely. But what truly pushed this experience into the worst travel experience of my life was the staff behavior. A staff member named Aman was shockingly rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. He acted as if we were a burden for simply asking for services that were already promised and paid for. His tone was aggressive, and he showed zero hospitality or willingness to help. However, the most disturbing part of our stay was the threatening and aggressive behavior of the owner, Onil. After we raised concerns about the services and lack of amenities, he became hostile, raising his voice and issuing verbal threats instead of resolving the issue. I have never experienced such an unsafe and unpleasant situation at any hotel or villa. The environment was so uncomfortable that we considered leaving early just to feel safe again. It is absolutely shameful how this property is being run. The location might seem decent in pictures, but none of that matters when the people running the place treat guests like a nuisance. If you value your money, your time, and most importantly your peace of mind - DO NOT BOOK this place. It's not worth the risk, the stress, or the potential danger of dealing with threatening behavior from the owner himself. This was not just poor service - it was a complete violation of guest hospitality and safety standards. I sincerely hope that others read this and think twice before booking.

The worst experience I had ever. One star is generous. This place is the definition of what not to do in hospitality. If you're looking for disappointment, poor hygiene, zero communication, and a host who clearly missed the memo on basic courtesy--congratulations, you've found it. The pictures must be from another lifetime, because what we walked into was an unkempt, poorly maintained mess. The staff? Incredibly rude, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. It's almost impressive how many ways they managed to get it wrong. Stay far away unless you enjoy wasting your time, money,and patience.

It is in good location. near to sea side. The place is good for family,for couples, and it's available with tent house. The place is good for party' s and small function. I loved it

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning beach homestay, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves lapping against the shore. The homestay is perfectly situated just a short walk from the beach, making it incredibly easy to enjoy long days of sun, sand, and surf.What truly set this homestay apart were the amenities! The shared outdoor space included a lovely garden with hammocks and seating areas, perfect for lounging after a day at the beach.In addition to the wonderful accommodations, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect.The location was simply unbeatable--nestled in a quiet area away from the bustle but close enough to explore nearby beach towns and attractions. The sunsets were nothing short of magical, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind. If you're seeking a beach getaway that combines comfort, stunning views, and fantastic amenities, look no further than this homestay. I can't wait to return for another blissful escape!

We stayed here for 2 days in Feb 2025. Its located 10 minutes from Malpe beach. And it takes about 15 minutes from the main highway. The cottage is okay. Very basic. The advantage it has two bedrooms. They have used the hall as the bedroom. So One bedroom is with AC and the other with fan only. So one can keep the door open of the bedroom open so that the whole cottage could be resonably cool. This cottage is ideal for groups of upto 5-6 people and family with budget. The weather was warm and so manageable but can be a challenge in peak Udupi summer. There is a mini frig. Plates and glasses. We missed the water kettle. ( which should be there). There is a smart TV with Netflix and few other OTTs. There is no mineral water but aqua filled bottles. Washrooms were just ok. Could do with a bit more maintenance! The boys Rohit and friend, were helpful. The tea they made was really good. The property is in a peaceful location. Close to beach which is the highlight. We got to see peacock roaming around. Also a mangoose near by. The property also has tents for those seeking those. Parking for 2 cars and maybe 4-5 bikes. There are no restaurants near by. One need own vehicle to travel 5-7 kms, towards Delta point.
