Townhouse Madikeri Fort formerly Hotel Raj

HIGHLY NOT!!! RECOMMENDED. Beware to end up here. Rooms are totally ramshackle, mattresses with springs in your back. However much you'd clean these rooms it's no help because everything is properly old. These OYO chain hotel is an absolute scam, they write fake good reviews for themselves and change the hotel name every few month to erase the negative feedback. We have paid cash for three nights but couldn't stay there and eventually had to book another hotel. The money tho was "impossible" to be refunded. We have complained to booking.com and going to go to the local police to help them send us the money back.

Booked this hotel seeing other reviews. Location is good but don't book it via Oyo. They treat you like as if you are staying for free. They didn't even bother to clean our rooms for multiple-days stay, not even fresh towel was provided everyday. No drinking water, lots of mosquitoes in the room. We literally could not sleep at night due to mosquitos. Bathroom window was broken. If you don't speak their language don't stay. Don't go by the review.

We went in a group of 6 person. Booked the room via OYO app. The hotel is easily accessible and near to the Madikeri town. The rooms were good and spacious. Everything is accessible distance from the hotel . Restaurant, ATM , Wine Shop , Medical Store. Omkareshwar Temple Madikeri Fort Raja Seat Is walking distance from the hotel. If you want Coorg(Kodagu) style food "Coorg Cuisine" is the restaurant for you . Also there is various south indian food options out there. We had food from Fabin Restaurant the food was very good. For souvenir and chocolate you can visit "Coorg Greens" We had brought coffee from "Ganesh Coffee" the coffee was amazing specially their 100% Arbica. Hope this helps you .

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for my business purpose and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and recommendations. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to many attractions. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Coorg.

Seriously felt worst on first time.... There is no cleanliness there is no proper services.. Even single door mat also not available just imagine..... There is no lift and parking area also not there...And they mentioned brkfst complementary, but to be frank there is no kitchen itself in hotel, but simple manupulating people by false statement.. Better just avoid it even if they provides by free also.

we stayed for 3 nights from 16th to 19th Feb 2025. Checked in on 16th night around 10 pm and checked out on 19th morning 7.30 am. In spite of that when we asked a room for 10-15 minutes just for freshup and change our clothes they bluntly refused and showed their arrogant behaviour. Such ruthlessness and don't care attitude is not good. They refused to give even water. Once money paid and checked out their attitude changes. I will never stay in this hotel again nor recommend to any of my known people

The hotel service is non-existent. There are no options to eat. They don't have water, every time you need water YOU need to go to the ground floor and fetch it yourself. You can never ask them for anything because they simple don't have it.
