Room service and hospitality were very good. The staff was polite and responded immediately to any request. There is a spice store inside the hotel, and the prices are about 60% cheaper than what outside stores charge. Before booking the hotel, I thought the included breakfast would be unlimited like in other hotels. However, it was limited -- more like a mini tiffin, commonly served in many South Indian hotels. Taste-wise, it was very delicious. This hotel is a good choice for vegetarians, as the restaurant is purely vegetarian.

I was initially hesitant to book a room at this lodge due to concern about the water quality, which I had read in one review. However I was pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms and service exceeded my expectations. Moreover, the water was clean and free of any contamination, putting my mind at ease. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable. Entire property is excellent, very clean and tidy at the center of the town. Overall, I highly recommend this lodge for its excellent service, clean facilities and great value
Stayed there for two nights, it was amazing. Apart from scenic beauty since the property is located in city central but for someone who wants other amenities like shops, restaurants, public transport etc then this hotel is perfect. Cleanliness is excellent, rooms are spacious, service is great. I will definitely recommend this property
We were satisfied with room as it was maintained clean but hospitality is not up to the mark. Complementary breakfast was very poor. Although boarding in same hotel , we had to wait long minutes for the waiter to take the order for complementary breakfast pass customer. If this is the cost cutting treatment then pls don't impose any free breakfast. Restaurant people are giving priority to paid customer ignoring complementary pass. Even we pay for breakfast during room lodging as to cut short our time and have breakfast on time.
I had a great experience staying at the Red Bricks Inn hotel with my wife and daughter. They were happy with the quality of the room and the service. However, there are several areas that need improvement: 1. The open dustbins in the bathroom and bedroom are inappropriate. 2. The quality of the blankets is subpar, resembling those found in a government hospital. 3. The water appeared brownish, indicating a possible mix with mud, which needs to be addressed. 4. While the hotel looks like a three-star establishment, the overall quality does not match that rating. I hope these suggestions help enhance the experience for future guests.
Small room with very small bathrooms. Clean, quiet, easy access to town. Not worth the money spent though. Good service: They responded quickly to change bedsheet and room cleaning also was good. But the quilt they provided was very dusty and don't think they had cleaned it properly. We got Skin allergies and dust allergies. The worst part is their complimentary breakfast. It was arranged at the Paakashaala-Madikkeri restaurant on the ground floor. Very bad food. No buffet breakfast. Fixed menu everyday. We got we eat we leave. They value black tea more than milk tea I guess, coz I asked for black tea and they made me pay extra..No questions asked and am not mentioning the part after we leave here. That I have written another review for the restaurant itself. I would definitely recommend the stay (but pls provide clean quilt and if at all provide better food options for complimentary breakfast).
Visited on 18&19 Feb2025. Location and the Rooms found to be much better than what we 3 families (6 members) had expected. Room design is innovative and user friendly. Veg Restaurant Paakshala on Ground floor of Hotel building is added advantage for the pure vegetarian families. We strongly recommend for families travelling to Coorg.
Overall, it was a good experience, in the middle of Madikeri Town. Hotel staff are good and responsive. Overall good location, near to some tourist destinations. Cleanly maintained. Food/ breakfast was a letdown. I guess the hotel are partnered with Pakashala, and they give breakfast there. The Pajashala hotel is always crowded, and their staff are overworked and unable to manage crowds. Have some mercy on Pakashala staff - have shifts and treat them well. Pakashala I tried in various locations and food quality is nowadays below average. I rate Pakashala 1 star. This is due to bad management. Not for their staff. Their staff are overworked.
