PEACEFUL,, RELAXING, COMFORTABLE 3 DAYS SPENT IN NATURE OF COORG: Given our busy lives and the lack of time to plan a vacation this month , we dediced to visit coorg "Mountain View Homestay" One of the best holidays I ever had. Everything was organized and perfect - right from the time I contacted Devaiah for reservations till the time I checked out. The Homestay itself is so peaceful and beautiful surrounded with full of green trees, blue skyes & cool clouds the entire atmosphere is Fantastic. We our family had a plesent stay overall 10 / 10... FOOD: Tipical Coorgie style Breakfast & Dinner was really good & tasty. Mr. Devaiah greeted and treated us like a family guest. Infact he was attending all the guest so pleasantly. I was really impressed by him he gave us feel VVIP a spicial Thanks Mr. Devaiah. IMPORTANT NOTE: People who are going to homestay not only "Mountain View Homestay" any homestay anywhere please don't exepct the hotel facility like recepition, bell boy, room service, laundry, ext..., just to take a break from busy & traffic life "Mountain View Homestay" is the best place in coorg Beautiful property what i feel...

No words can describe this place better. You have to see yourself and it. In short perfect stay in nature with limited network coverage which helps a lot in disconnecting from the world and live a few moments with yourself or friends or family. Host Harsha was very helpful. Loved all the conversations with him. He has built this stay on a heritage theme. Food is good and is light on stomach. homely feeling and a wonderful stay amidst nature and coffee plantations.

Quite and calm place. Rooms and washrooms are neat. But the basic necessities are missing. No toiletries, no towels, no TV, dingy lighting to name a few. Complimentary breakfast is very very simple and lunch, dinner is quiet expensive for the price. There are few good restaurants within 5km radius which offer more variety at much cheaper cost. Hosts are good and polite...Will recommend only if you have no other option.

Good one... we went for a night stay. The owner Harsha was very humble and did arrangements of all that we asked for. The location is attached to the main road. There are two similar rooms on the first floor of the building and a open space common to both the rooms. You can enjoy freely with the greenery. Mr.Harsha also arrange the fire camp if required but will charge 500 for that Only problem was, after 11 you cannot make much noise or play high loud music in Coorg itseems. Over all a good calm place to stay and also a safe one Specially for family and couples. Becoz there are local families staying in the ground floor..

We were a group of 18. Right from the start to the end Harsha sir was awesome in his hospitality and taking care. The stay was too comfortable for the cost he charged. It's best suited for group travellers. This stay has no TV and that rooted for talks between us. It has a good view of the Madikeri uphill. The food was reasonable both in taste and quantity. Campfire is also arranged on request. He takes care of the guests 24*7.

Very peaceful stay. In close proximity from the town and distance is perfect to escape the town crowd. Amazing view of paddy field and the location is surrounded by coffee plantation. Tasty home made food and lovely hosts...what more to ask :)

The place is located in an isolated area surrounded by hills and mountains. Picturesque location, but not exactly where you will feel the safest. An amazing terrace, fungi infected walls and an extra door that opens to your room but you don't have the keys to. Quite an eerie feeling seeps in through below the door at night. The food is decent, the host is pleasant. Apparently a family resides there, but Harsha is all you will meet. Decently distanced from all popular tourist spots, are you willing to take it? Now that's a decision for you to make!

When you're looking for a place to surrender to nature and tranquility, this is the place for you! Such a lovely homestay with a gracious host. The nights are mysterious and the days are bright and chirpy. The local coorgi cuisine which tastes absolutely divine along with some coorgi hospitality made this our perfect break from the city.
