Misty Mercara

Had a wonderful experience in the homestay. We were well received by the owner karun and his mother. The room was very clean and maintained. The restroom was also very clean and necessary toiletries were provided. The room was very spacious and an extra bed was provided. The owner provided us with hot water as and when required. The complimentary breakfast provided was also very tasty and provided coffee/ tea along with it. The homestay is located a bit away from the city but easily accessible to places when we have our own transport. They have a pleasant garden and the view from the balcony is very good. Overall had a peaceful stay with my family. Must recommend staying in this homestay.

Hospitality is good. the owner helped for trekking to private property where his community owned property. Trekking was awesome. No firecamp Complementary Breakfast available (idly or kichidi). Food was good The owner talks a lot and gives a lot of ideas to visit the site location Clean room Sometimes snails will come at bathroom...that can't avoid You need to get water from the owner whenever you require. There are no specific water resources in room

We were at Misty Mercara on 26th/27th. The location is beautiful and the property is very well maintained. The hosts - Kusuma madam and her son are very polite and great hospitality. They took care of precise property location search even though we were late night to reach. Rooms were clean, furniture maintained. On top of it, they served tasty breakfast - Poha(Aulakyi) and omlette. Overall it was a very good stay for us. I recommend strongly whosoever visiting to Madikeri/Coorg. Umesh Cholle

Home stay is very neat and tidy. The surroundings are scenic. The host is a very friendly and warm person and has a ready to help attitude. It is around 2.5 km from main town. Ideal place for a family vacation. The complimentary breakfast was good. Thanks Karun for making our stay awesome. Stayed for 3 nights

Had a wonderful stay at Misty Mercara amidst nature and greenery. The host treated and welcomed us like family. The food served was all homemade and just too good. The location is also prime with all restaurants nearby. I would recommend Misty Mercara to everyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

The homestay is very neat and tidy and the host is very friendly. The provided breakfast was very delicious. The host is very helpful and will help you with anything basic when ever required. The property is green and spacious and can accommodate a large group.. It is an ideal stay for family to have a nice vacation together. Just one feedback to the host is that they should get the room cleaning and bathrooms cleaning done every day.. specially when people stay for more than 2 days and there are extra beds on the floor... Other than the cleaning, everything else was good..Overall a great experience...

Stayed with family in monsoon 2024. Pros: 1) Good surrounding Location 2) Big rooms and clean bathroom 3) Ample parking space 4) Home made breakfast Cons: 1) Dampness on wall and ceiling 2) Dirty curtains 3) No toiletries and towel. 4) Hot water for limited time only (6 AM to 9 AM) 5) Thin blankets 6) TV was not working 7) No packaged water bottle provided 8) Only idli -sambhar served in breakfast (1 option decided by owner) 9) Property don't have kitchen so you have to dependent on swiggy/zomato 10) No campfire 11) Insects in the room Not worth for the price. Property have only 3 rooms. 1 on ground and 2 on 1st.

It is situated near to madikeri town, excellent service by host, complimentary breakfast was amazing which was included in our stay here. Hosts at this place are very polite and will help you with all the details of the places you will visit, also they will help you with two wheeler/jeep safari rentals
