Lotus The Cottages

Nice rooms with WiFi . Not much of amenities. Not very far from city center. For food.. you have to travel or order in Swiggy. We have in house help who can bring food & beverages. Pretty peaceful place. They have power backup. Ideal place for vacation. Value for money.

Genuine Review ::: Bad experience of staying in this cottage .. Both Fan n AC was not working in one of our booked rooms.. Neither they were able to get it repaired nor reduced the price .. We some how managed in other rooms .. No proper communication between the caretaker n the owners ..It's like an old cottage without maintenance .. Think twice before booking ur stay ...

Great location. Near to the city. It's a duplex house, one bed downstairs and one bed upstairs with separate washrooms. Parking space is also there. I was not happy with the service. There are 2 caretakers, one for day and one for night. But , I did not understand their purpose at all as when we entered there, there was no one to attend us. We literally have to open and close the gate by ourselves everytime even though caretaker is present, that's why I have given one star for the service. You will not get food there. But there is a kitchen with all utensils. Except the service, everything is good. I will recommend one to consider it.

The so called home stay was the worst experience in my lifetime. Gloomy ambience of the property with multiple pitfalls resulted in a miserable stay for me and my colleague with family. We had to vacate and cut short our stay at this property as nothing worked favorably. Faulty light points, fan not working, remotes missing, TV wires etc snapped with no display, dirty linen, fungal infected pillows were few highlights. Spider webs could be seen all around inside the room with lizard droppings at several places on tables and chairs could make the healthiest person sick. Had to request for fresh drinking water and the coffee which never got prepared as though promised but nothing was readily available with the caretaker. The so called kitchen for guests appeared to be shabby with a fridge in totally unhygienic conditions. Foot mat in place of hand towel for which the caretaker continued to be adamant. The partners have to revamp the property or guests will continue to be cheated going by the website photographs. Also, no privacy within the duplex stay arrangements.

Positives: Nice cottages for groups of people. Food is pretty good and caretakers are also excellent. They are always helping in anything you need. The bathrooms are pretty large. The location is also pretty near to major attractions. Cons: The property is not so well maintained. The toilets smell a bit and are not very clean. The towels were not so clean. The bed and blankets smelled as well. Parking is also tight so had to move car again and again if someone wanted to go. We also had a very large spider in our room. Overall the place is value for money.

This was a good resort for the family. We were 4 couples and each room is having duplex type. The management is very cooperative and service was excellent. I enjoyed filter coffee every morning. The only complaint was, AC not working. Staff tried to fix it but couldn't. As weather was pleasant, we could manage.

Decent place to stay, a little on the outskirts but bus stand and main market is within 3-4kms, good to have your own vehicles in case of emergency. In case of any issues, you will be confused and clueless whom to contact as it has multiple owners and caretaker doesn't solves your problem. I had multie issues during my stay like cleanliness (spider webs, cigarette buds lying in the room), non-functional appliances and even after reporting to the owner got only false promises. On top of this, while doing checkout one of the owner (about whom I didn't have any info neither her name not contact ) was giving excuses to contact her in case of issues. How would one contact the owner without having any info about them. Its owner's responsibility to contact the guests. Overall an ok and bit overpriced property to stay.
