Hotel Caveri

I stayed at this hotel for five days with my family. It's a very good hotel -- the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff and room service were excellent. Housekeeping cleaned the rooms daily, maintaining a high standard of hygiene. Overall, the hotel was well-maintained, tidy, and pleasant. It's an excellent choice for budget travelers. The location is very convenient, as it's close to the bus stand and provides easy access to shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions

This is an old Hotel but very convenient and located centrally. I stayed here just for one night but was amazed by the old world charm of the interiors - walnut furniture and stone walls ,spacious verandahs with seating. I liked that there was a separate single bed along with a double bed which is convenient for those having older children. It has its own restaurant with a limited menu . Plenty of places to eat and shop around the Hotel. Parking available. This turned out to be a better Hotel than the other expensive resort I stayed in Madikeri.

Rooms are ok for one day stay.Size wise they are small.I booked through agoda initially I booked for 1600 in book now pay later option ,later when I checked after sometime it showed 1061 so I payed online and booked.Instide of booking in advance through agoda,booking or any other site,it is better if u get any direct contact of hotel and book through them might be cheaper as compared to sites because they charge their commission.Its not only for hotel caveri u can even try this method everywhere.One more thing I have observed is u can go there before 12pm on the day of your check in and book room because as it is a tourist spot u will have majority of cases u will get rooms as they have built rooms for the tourist i felt.Hardly u will require 1 hour in the city to check,ask,enquire and book the room.If u r facing language problem u can book prior as u will have no stress of booking, u just need to show booking and just check in.And if u r really facing u can use translater it helps u a lot, I used translate in kerala asi was facing difficulties in communicating.If u want something to happen u will find a way to solve it.

The location is very good it's just 100 meters from old bus stand madikeri/coorg and in late night or early morning also it's safe for family to visit that hotel. If u are doing direct booking from hotel via calling them u will get cheaper price compared to online portals. Their super delux room is pretty big and the service is also very good They also provide food in room but nearby is Paris restaurant where u will get food at less cost via swiggy/zomato.

Very old hotel, need to waster 3 buckets of water to get just luke warm water, no dedicated geysers, approach road is challenging for new drivers, they switch off all corridor lights in the night, so if u r starting early the entire hotel is drowned in darkness, the restaurant is terrible in terms of quality and food availability. Only positive thing r the owners and location.

I visited from Chennai. We 3 people are stay in this room really very comfortable room 24/7 Hot water and location friendly. Best for Friends and Family.

I visited coorg few day back with my frnds . In Madikeri I searched for hotel which is nearby to all visiting places .I got this hotel called hotel caveri and I booked the room in online and came here in the morning the room that I got is so clean and fresh .and the service is also good from the staffs . my plan was to stay just 1 day but for some reasons I have to extend the room to 1 more day .they provide cleaning everyday . And the hotel located in centre of Madikeri so u can go to some visiting places by walk also. over all the experience was soo good . I will definitely revisit here again...

Looks good from outside but it is very old inside, only Luke warm water is available, so difficult to stay with children in winter. There is no lift service.
