Honey Palace Homestay

I spent five days at HP and it was the best accommodation I found in southern India so far. It really feels like home. My room was large and clean, the furniture stylish and functional. Madhu was always available when I needed something and I felt taken care of. The location is excellent too. I'm really grateful for the hospitality.

The stay is very homely. The location is very good right at the center of the city, close to Raja seat and right beside the Madikeri fort. The caretaker is a good help. However the room interior colours can be reconsidered and redone.

Located in town.Should walk some distance to reach the home stay from the main road. The balcony and drawing room are good. But where we stay most of the time after visiting places, the bedroom gives a bad smell when we enter the room, maybe because of water seepage in the walls and ceiling. After some time, we may adjust to that.The bed is ok. The furniture and flooring is so old. Elders may adjust to this room. But the younger generation of youth could not like to stay here. Not worthy to spend 1700 rupees per day to stay here.

The position of the stay is very good. You can visit most of the shops very easily. The stay is just beside the Madikeri fort and Madikeri municipal corporation office. You can go to the Raja Seat by walking only. The view from the balcony is also Amazing. Rooms are also good, you will feel like you are in your own home. Two wheeler parking is also available.

Me and my friend were coming from Hassan to Madikeri on a bus. That's when I like to do my reservations. Madhuji was referred by a prior reservation. The place is clean. There were plenty of bathrooms. We don't eat here as we're mostly outside. The porch area in the back is beautiful. You can do Yoga and relax any time of the day outside.

Great location, it was as described and for once actually looked like the pictures. It was what I expected, what I wanted and was perfect. Super happy I choose to stay here. Staff very friendly and the owner is always on hand to speak English. Thank you for a great stay.

I like this place. I came with my friends. I enjoyed the stay. The management was very flexible. Wide parking area. They arrange cab Jeep facilities to the nearest destinations also
