A perfect home stay in Coorg. Easy to reach, and they provide car parking just outside. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Really quiet and peaceful. Caretaker is responsive. Good seating to sit outside and enjoy a good sunset

I booked a room at this homestay for a day while I was visiting Coorg and was on a solo-trip. It is located close to all the places one would like to visit in Madikere. It is beautiful, has a warm homely vibe, and the rooms are comfortable. It was at an elevated place, used to feel cooler at night and early morning. The caretaker was helpful. When I visited, I didn't have any options as such for food - and so, I had ordered food online from nearby restaurants. To enjoy local food, I visited nearby restaurants while on tour. Overall, lovely place and I am appreciative of the owner's good welcoming nature. Thank you

Rooms were very comfortable, Spacious, Neat and well maintained properly. Mr Prince and Care take were very helpful.

A very nice experience in Coorg, especially in Holidayincoorg Brick Lane. It's a perfect homestay. We felt homie feeling in those 3 days. Well-maintained homestay, provide all possible amenities and necessities complete hygiene, nice hospitality, good food and perfect view. Coming to food, as I've mentioned above that good food, well I meant absolutely right, the food is genuinely very delicious, it's home cooked food. You'll get home cooked food and any beverages provided by Sumi's Kitchen. Sumi is the lady who cook and serve food for tourists very kindly. Her humble gesture and delicious food impressed us in our whole trip. Best of her kitchen is, it is just upside of the homestay. She lives there with her family and cook from her own kitchen for tourists. Treat tourists like family, had nice chit-chat over breakfast, food served maintaining hygiene, used adorable cuttleries, lovely garnishing and so on. Also, not to forget, Vijendra bhaiya the caretaker plus our auto bhaiya, who helped us to make our trip easy and comfortable. Well-mannered person. We enjoyed a fantastic holiday getaway in Coorg just last week, staying at the charming Holiday Coorg in Brick Lane. The ambiance was delightful, with impeccable cleanliness that made it feel just like home. I will give 5 Star for Room, service, location

Room was ok, bathroom was not that clean, one small bucket to fill water, had very small geyser not enough for 4 people to take bath if to leave together, bathroom light always switches off once door is closed due to vibration of wall while closing door. Biggest disappointment was food, no food at stay. We were told to order food online by Swiggy/zomato, why would we come to a place so far from Bangalore to spend a vacation and order food online. We used same towel for 2 days as it was not changed. Maid came to just clear the garbage bin and no cleaning of floor or bed.

We stayed in Shady Fern for a day. Enjoyed the stay, very comfortable place having all the facilities. Had kitchen with basic amenities. Person who guided us in this cottage was nice, he explained each n every thing in the room , especially the rules n regulations very clearly. Also he helped us in visiting all the places in Madikeri. Free breakfast provided - which was very tasty. Very suitable for family especially with kids.
