Gowri Nivas

Had a wonderful experience at Gowri Nivas! The lush green environment adds to its charm, and the staff was incredibly supportive in meeting all our needs. A prominent property conveniently close to the bus stand--highly recommended! to all

Very good place within city but far away from all noise. Host and service is superb. She helped with itenary also and she was always available on chat/call for any request. Enjoyed the stay very much. Another good thing is attractions like raja seat, madikeri fort and omkareshwar temple are around/under 1.5km. Raja seat is infact around 400m. Also bus stand is walkable distance away and we took jeep for mandalpatti from there only. Nice restaurants like paakshala is also in walkable distance. Other places also not so far max 10-15 min ride. Will suggest this place to all.

Beautiful home stay in the middle of madikeri town and very close to Raja's Seat viewpoint. The home stay itself is in a very peaceful and serene setting and Muthu is incredibly helpful with suggesting restaurants and activities, and helping you book and organise them

Located within town limits but in a quiet zone. Property has limited cottages spread in a dense garden space offering privacy. The cottages have a small porch outside where food is served. Room interiors are basic but have old time charm. Clean bed sheets n towels and neat rooms. Breakfast was complimentary with our stay and had a decent menu . Good portion to get you started for the day. Overall a very comfortable and well maintained place to stay.

Location, location, location! The best located stay in Madikeri, within walking distance of the fort, Raja's seat, good cafes and restaurants. But even better is the homestay itself! The host, Muthu is very welcoming and helpful, provides super breakfasts, the rooms are clean and comfy. The icing on the cake is Rowdy, the delightful indie who definitely does not live up to his name!

We celebrated our Son's first birthday at Gowri Nivas. We stayed here for 3 days and must say this was the best decision. Mutthu is very helpful and kind. She helped us a lot during our stay and been part to our little birthday celebration. Breakfast was very tasty. Rooms were clean. all attractions are easy to reach from this place. We will definitely visit this place again. Thanks for the good hospitality.

Highly recommended! Muthu is one of the warmest host, she listened and catered to all our requirements. The ethnic breakfast she served every morning was amazing! She helped us figure out the best places to try out coorg cuisines. Spending three nights in this cozy property surrounded by a beautiful garden was an absolute joy for us.

This place is located very near to Madikere bus stand and hotels. The breakfast served is of very good quality and good service by home stay owner.
