Coorg Heritage Hill View Resort

I had a very unpleasant experience during my recent stay at a hotel in Madikeri. The hotel owner was unfriendly and exhibited rude behavior throughout. The overall environment felt unsafe and unwelcoming, with clear signs of drug use by some of the people around. The hotel itself was in very poor condition - definitely not suitable for families. Basic amenities were missing, and cleanliness was completely lacking. They demand full advance payment before check-in, which feels like a trap, as you're left with no option to leave once you realize the reality. Madikeri is a beautiful place, but this stay was the worst part of my trip. I would strongly advise others, especially families, to be cautious and avoid this hotel to prevent a similar experience.

Worst experience ever!!!! It's like a public toilet ...Scamming us with fake photos . Don't pay before checking the room. There are lot of heritage and this one is fraudulent. Ashok - who is going to scam you!!! 1. Doors are aluminium which will give the worst experience. 2. You can see through the door even if it's locked including the bathroom door. 3.No towel hanger 4.No TV 5. Lights won't work 6.Power cuts will happen multiple times. 7.Ashok won't help you after paying the amount. 8.purely money minded scumbag. 9. You've to get compromised in each step after entering the cottage. 10.And Its not a resort at all

Beware this is not a resort or any decent hotel room.do not ever make a reservation. They took half amount as advance (1500)during booking and once we checked we had to pay full amount(3000) the room had rats, mould, zero watts bulb, no fan and noheater.when we went back immediately they did not refund any amount. Please don't ever consider booking this place.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my visit. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience. A special mention to Samath, who went above and beyond to assist me - truly exceptional service. The food was delicious, and the entire team made sure every need was met. I genuinely loved my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

For someone wanting to spend a few days close to nature in the hills, this is the place to be. The staff at the resort were extremely courteous and the food served at their restaurant tasted extremely good. One could however argue that the spread could be better. Being located in the hills, the air quality there definitely adds another life to your lungs!

We had been to this hotel just for 1 night and yes the experience was really . Food is also excellent especially during breakfast even though they had limited items but food taste really good. Service is also upto the mark.The prices were great, and the discounts made it even better.

Went here for New Year and deeply regretted it. The room was filthy with spiders and despite promises, the bonfire was shared with others. The food was a disaster, stale chicken forced us to leave it untouched, though breakfast was decent. Service was biased, treating some guests well while ignoring others. Clearly, they're more money-minded than customer-focused. Friendly suggestion is that don't just see the photos of the stay and book here, reality is totally different.

DO NOT BOOK HERE, room is super unclean with mosquitos, rats and cockroaches everywhere. A lot of the room lights do not work and there is mold in the bathroom. They require an advance because once you see the room you'll want to leave. Awful place
