Coorg Heights Resort

The only Drawback of this place is that the way to the hotel is very steep , climbing up is a task for vehicle and people too.Other than that everything else is amazingly good to start with the rooms which has a lovely balcony so you enjoy the view, the food, their quick service and most importantly their staff. You will leave this place with a smile and a happy heart.

The Deluxe room was spacious and comfortable. The view from the room was truly amazing and perfect for taking great photos. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. However, to reach the rooms, we had to walk around 300 meters uphill from the road, which might not be suitable for elderly people. Thankfully, the resort staff assisted us by transporting luggage using an auto and helping elderly guests navigate the path. The service was a bit delayed, but the manager, Johnny, was friendly and helpful. He provided us with itinerary suggestions and even arranged a jeep for sightseeing in Coorg. Overall, the experience was fantastic!(4/5)

Our experience at Coorg Heights Resort was extremely disappointing. The room was untidy and unclean--papers and dust were all over the floor, with signs that it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests. Blankets were filthy, stained with what looked like food and mud. A tray with old, fungal food waste was still in the room, and we found spider webs, especially around the bed and fan. Pillows were stained and smelled bad, and overall hygiene was shocking. Service was just as bad. We ordered food from the resort restaurant and it was brought without basic essentials like spoons. When we asked, the staff argued among themselves and told us to just eat without side items like raita or sauce. We had to go and get spoons ourselves. Very unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. At checkout, we asked for the manager's contact, and they claimed they had no idea who the manager was. Totally unacceptable. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless serious improvements are made.

The hotel is situated at a nice location, ambience is great, room service is great and delux rooms provided we're spacious enough. Only suggestion I would give is they should provide a stand or a small rope to dry clothes. Overall experience is good. 10/10

1. Property Infrastructure & Safety The landscape of the resort is uneven and poorly maintained, making it difficult to navigate, especially for senior citizens. Steps provided across the property are steep and inconvenient. Additionally, the absence of railings poses a significant safety risk. 2. Room Maintenance & Facilities Basic checks appear to be lacking. At check-in, the cupboard had no rod for hangers, indicating poor room readiness. Essential amenities such as a napkin near the washbasin were missing. While the room offers good space, the arrangement of appliances like the TV, set-top box, and tea/coffee maker was impractical. All were cramped onto a single table runner, causing inconvenience to the guest. 3. Outdoor Areas & Amenities The garden area, though present, appears unkempt and lacks charm. No recreational facilities such as a swimming pool or indoor games were available, which limits guest engagement and relaxation options. 4. Dining Experience The menu for lunch and dinner was limited, offering minimal variety. Breakfast options were also repetitive, lacking in diversity and appeal. Conclusion & Recommendation Given the concerns related to safety, poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and limited food and activity options, this property currently does not meet the expectations for a comfortable and well-rounded guest experience. Based on this, it is not recommended to suggest this property to other guests, particularly families or senior citizens.

We had stayed here for 3 nights, our stay was amazing, great view of mountains, rooms were clean and comfortable, affordable price, front desk are available 24 hours and they were very friendly. Great place to stay for a family and for a vacation/holidays.

Beautiful stay .. very nice hospitality , great view from room 203 and 204. Breakfast was superb .. we came with a year old baby and they made sure we enjoy our stay. Thanks a lot , must visit.

Loved the place, nice mountain view from the resort. Staff was kind and quick. They politely handle us and make our room request also fulfill.
