The location of the resort is one of the best, within the woods in literal sense. However when it comes to a hospitable and luxury experience, it lacks it's worth. The waiters had to be asked for everything to be given...they had only one statement "this is chargeable". Feel of hospitality was completely missing for the price paid for one night. Concept of being eco-friendly etc is understood but the staff lacked the sense of serving. They were more like sales people trying to sell coffee powders. The hi tea snack was given like a sample and not good quality. No toiletries in the washroom. TV not functional, worst part was wifi not working from the room. Buggy waiting time was close to 30 mts which we called only once for checkout purposes. Highly priced resort with poor service. Non valued for money.

Highly recommend. Excellent experience. What a jewel property. Unexpectedly delightful. Embedded in nature, lovely and relaxing. The experience was outstanding in every way. The eco friendly centric focus, property design, attentive staff, quality accommodations and food. Outstanding staff, including Abajit the Manager, MK, Sahib-housekeeping supervisor, Priyesh, Chef Jithu, Pradeep Kumar -housekeeping, Mouhita, Bika. My deep gratitude to the Ibini team who made the experience specail in every way!
Despite several recent negative reviews on Google & TripAdvisor, I was still planning to book a 2 or 3-night stay at this property, but the very first impression itself was odd.||1. I made it all ready to book online and wanted to manually check with the reservation team if they have any offers in the pipeline before proceeding, and was shocked to know the tariff they shared is more than what I found on the website. When I demanded an explanation for the difference, the strange answer I got was "We charge more for offline booking to encourage online booking" - Really?? if so, why was it not conveyed in advance? - This has created trust issues.||2. Having that clarified, I asked a follow-up question "Are there any other rules or conditions that I must be aware before proceeding with the booking" - For which they sent list of conditions in the name of "Sustainable practices" which more of a cheap tactics in the guise of "Sustainable Practices". - Let me give a simple example. They do not provide toiletries (Brush, Paste, Comb, Shower Cap & Loofah) because they are "Concept-based property" and do not want anything being wasted. Well, I do appreciate that concept, and not many guests use those and end up in the landfill. However, these people sell the same kit for an amount of Rs. 120/-. How on earth can you call yourself sustainable when you can sell the same items for a price? If you think a few guests may not bring such items, then you should provide them at no cost. After all, guests spend a premium amount to stay at your property and do not bother about spending Rs. 120/ but what matters is your thought process of charging for the item in the name of sustainability.||3. I do appreciate non-smoking and preventing food wastage, but weighing the leftover food and charging guests at Rs. 100/- per 10 grams is insane.||I am a great advocate of eco-friendliness and sustainability, but I hate this kind of cheap practice in the guise of sustainability, which is really embarrassing even to read. You may take pride in what you are doing, but let me tell you, these kinds are so so so cheap and do not reflect your seriousness with sustainable practices.
I recently had what I can only describe as the best nature experience in India. The resort's lush greenery and unparalleled quietness set the perfect stage for a serene escape. A nature walk here was a delight--witnessing an astonishing variety of birds and listening to their unique songs truly left me in awe. Service throughout our stay was exceptional; every need was met quickly and comprehensively. Dining was equally impressive, with top-quality food and a service team that went the extra mile. My parents were particularly delighted when they got to chat with the Bengali-speaking waiters, whose cordiality added a personal touch to our experience. The only slight drawback was the spa, which, while decent, felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of our stay. Despite that, this destination remains a standout choice for anyone seeking a blend of natural beauty, excellent service, and culinary delights. ps. One thing I really did not like was the "concert" during dinner on weekends. I know this is commonplace in India, but it is not at all compatible with the serenity in the resort.
Stayed for 3N/4D and unfortunately, service standards were very Disappointing:|1. Dinner impressions @ 29/03 - The resort had taken considerable bookings but they clearly didn't have the resources to handle the guests. At dinner, they ran out of basic items like Paneer Pasanda, and it became difficult to get simple orders like chapati or lime soda.|After waiting for 20 minutes with no sign of senior management, we gave up and left.||2. Locked Gym Experience - We arrived at the gym to find it locked, with no one able to explain why. Had to walk in the scorching sun to another facility and then call the reception for an answer.||3. Frustrating Wait times for Buggies(golf carts) - The buggy service was terribly inefficient. There were quite a few occasions but on 'One Fine One' - We had to literally wait 45 minutes for the buggy, just to get to the parking area... Big Big Bummer||4. Checkout Experience (8:15 AM) - There was no clear checkout process, despite the timings being communicated the night before. As expected, the buggy arrived late, and we were taken directly to the parking area without any interaction or Formal Sign-offs. The entire experience seemed haphazard , raising questions about whether they even have a Defined Checkout Procedure.|And the morning receptionist (Kudumba, I believe) she most definitely can use a few customer service training ..||Overall, this place fails to meet the standards of luxury and prompt service. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting quality hospitality.
This place absolutely breathtaking and spectacular. Their rooms and villas are very luxurious. Food is very good and non processed, we had the best Rajasthani thali aswell. Staff is very helpful and the golden temple is just a 45 drive. Will definitely visit again.
One of the best resorts i have ever stayed in. We had booked a forest view cottage and loved the room and the way it has been maintained. The staff was kind enough to arrange a crib for our baby. The resort has very eco-sustainable arrangements which makes it even more interesting. Food variety, activities, fresh coffee, kind staff and those dedicated night messages with dark chocolates by the housekeeping team just added more love to our stay! Definitely gonna visit whenever we are in coorg !!
Loved the experience! Starting from the easy access to the resort, the comfort and luxury in the lap of nature makes it an unforgettable holiday destination. The pools, dining and nature walks along with the neatness of luxurious villas are absolutely up to the expectations. Most of my friends who had visited previously also gave the same feedback and hence they are maintaining their standards consistently. The only deficit I felt was the lack of indoor games for children. Other than that it's a perfect place for the entire family.
