Old, rustic place but nicely maintained. They have huge space and as a result one gets too much open space to move. Main attraction here are horses and the riding area. Their rooms need a bit of revamp wrt earthy colours scheme. Also note that they have limited food options but have an open heart to accommodate as much as they can. Huge parking space is also a bonus.
We stayed at this place for a night, as we had planned early morning Nandi Betta trekking. We stayed in a wooden log. It has just bare necessities in place, but all good quality and clean. The food was simple and tasty. Bathrooms were clean. Host was very helpful.
Calm and serene environment to spend the weekend. Amenities and food is basic but good. Staff was helpful. Overall great experience.
Booked for a weekend , paid 3k advance. After paying advance only Staff told due to amavasya huge festival will happen in village so there will be lot of noise whole night. So I told I'll check and confirm. Next day I told this won't work as we have a small kid and I also got sick. They are not refunding any amount. We mainly cancelled because kid cannot toleraate such noise. Staff is saying talk to owner. Owner just chatted and never came back. Worst experience ever...
Don't book lock cottage, if you have good budget. Property is good for one day. Food is not good. No wifi, no ac, no room service. Total not worth as per money they ask. But you can plan incase you are visiting for one day
It's an amazing place to visit if you are an environment and nature lover. Owner is so thoughtful of everything he has created in this property. Lots of best wishes to the team
Hated the place because of its policies . Below are the details :- Positives :- 1) Views around the property 2) Rooms are decent with good & spacious balcony Negatives :- 1) water level in the area is not good it seems so they have fixed aerators everywhere but these are very irritating. It will take forever to fill a bucket or rinse soap off your hand/body. 2) staff is utter useless. They won't communicate anything properly at a proper time. 3) non customer friendly policies - you need to pay upfront when you check in, you need to pay for dinner before you eat, staff would ask you to pay when they see you as there is no intercom so they can communicate, nor will they walk up to your room to communicate things. 4) No intercom in rooms - only way to ask for something is if you walk down to the reception. If it rains then all the best with that. 5) No tea/coffee kit in rooms. After paying close to 5k for a superior villa , they dont bother to give a couple of tea bags worth 10/20 rupees (for 2-3 tea bags) 6) you need to fill your water bottles from a filter/can which is located downstairs of each building. No one will come to give water or wait - how will you even ask fot it ? (No intercom). These are small filters available for 8 rooms in a building. If the water in the can gets over at night... you need to walk up to the dining area to fill your bottle. 7) Food - the food is just tasteless. They try to rub off the organic thing a bit too mich but that does not mean the food has to be as pathetic as it was. They charge 500 plus gst for food per plate but most of the itmes would taste bad . Would never forget the kheer which i'm sure was made with water and milk powder. For this food - they want you to confirm by 4 pm. Given a chance, would not have this food for free as well. 8) the washroom's have health faucets , whose connection pipe would just reach the comod somehow, not an inch more. If you are big, all the best :) .. To summarize it : Just by giving it an organic theme, you can't strip off customers of all the leisures and then make them cough up a good amount like a good resort. Question to owner/management of the resort :- If you cant offer basic amenities that a basic hotel worth 2k/night can offer , then what's the point going there ?? People go there to relax, but you end up getting frustrated and irritated by everything. If you are a couple who dont give a damm about anything else other than the view and your room, this is a great place, otherwise don't bother going there as you would end up just getting frustrated with everything.
