Excellency Resort & Spa, Coorg

I had booked this resort through Make My Trip MMT, and unfortunately, the experience was highly disappointing due to miscommunication and misleading guarantees. While it was easy to reach your customer service, getting an actual resolution was extremely difficult. Whenever I approached the resort directly for issues, they simply redirected me back to MMT. In contrast, your customer support team kept saying they would speak to the property, but nothing ever got resolved. It felt like being passed around with no accountability. A specific example is the check-in and check-out timing. My booking confirmation mentioned a standard check-in at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM. However, MMT falsely guaranteed complimentary early check-in at 12 PM and late check-out at 2 PM, which the resort did not honor. Additionally, the property listing on your platform mentioned a bonfire service, which was a key reason for choosing this resort. Not only was this service not provided, but even when I offered to pay, they refused, citing unconvincing reasons like rain three days ago making the wood wet. It's basic service planning to keep dry wood in a shed if you offer bonfires as an amenity. Other than the stay and breakfast, I genuinely don't know what I received for the amount I paid. This was one of my worst booking experiences. I would strongly suggest others book directly with the property rather than through MMT to avoid such issues.

I visited this resort with my friends from school. I recommend not to visit here. As a student we all like to enjoy and obviously we enjoyed more in swimming pool. So we decided to jump the next morning too..... they said we can only use swimming pool for 1 time ,either morning or evening. Staff were bad and were getting angry for no reason. There is no channel in the TV and when asked to the staff they said we didn't pay for that. This should not be called or mentioned as a resort. Its just an apartment.

The bathroom was dirty with a bad odor, and the bedsheets were not changed. It's clear housekeeping is not a priority. For the price, I expected basic hygiene, but this hotel failed. Would not recommend unless they improve cleanliness.

Very poor resort ever!!. I haven't seen a resort like this. Rooms are disgusting and TV and AC will not work. There is an extra cost for using swimming pool!!. Totally very bad Management is very bad!!! And also the workers

No complimentary breakfast and dinner will be provided as promised... Stay is not at all good... Choose any other resort in Coorg or any other hotel... If you don't get anywhere and still need to stay in Coorg for some reason, then only prefer this...

Good resort and nice cottages. The pool is not so large that was the only issue i felt and all service etc was superb

There were no proper facilities available and the pool was smelling bad. When we asked them to show us the games room, the room was empty with only one carrom board and the fans not at all working, they charged us 2k for the bon fire, you can find other resorts with the same facilities with much better prices. Don't be deceived by the pictures. 7k for a room that's way expensive. You could stay at a 5 star hotel with better facilities for the same price.

Worst resort ever!!! First of all the food and staffs behaviour is very bad This isn't a resort this is just a 2 star hotel rooms I'm regrettin giving this 1 star rating The staff robbed in our friends room and they are females too How are we supposed to sleep peacefully when they are crash into the rooms and no room service no food inside the resort we need to go their restaurant to eat food and some of us got food poisoned from the food and the pool they charge very high rate for pool and the pool isn't even clean!!! And they billed us extra for nothing they put some color on the bedsheets and blame us and billed a fine!! They behave like they're Outta brain I'd never recommend this resort to anyone please don't go there!!!
