Silver Sand Beach Resort

We visited with the hope that the kids would have a great time, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. There's no Wi-Fi, the TV in our room wasn't working, and the adventure park was non-functional, leaving limited options to keep the kids engaged. The biggest highlight is the beautiful beach right next to the resort. However, the waves at Vortex Beach are quite strong, requiring careful Adult supervision for children to swim or play in the water. On the positive side, the staff was courteous and responsive, and most of the food we tried was quite good. Rooms were decent, though the air conditioning was very slow to cool. There's ample parking space, but no breakfast included in the booking. We had initially booked for two days but decided to check out after just one. Good for couples or friends group.

This is perfect for people who love to be near the sea. We have booked a bamboo ac cottage . With the look and feel the cost was quite more . But seeing the peak season we can't get much better costing. They should maintain the property better, a lot of cob webs, cockroaches and dust. They use a lot of palm oil for cooking. Recommend to use either sunflower or coconut oil for cooking.. better for good health.

Good location as in the surroundings but the ambience of the resort isn't pleasant. Drunkards and addicts around. Food is not good.. go eat outside. Service is forgettable and guys work for tips only.

The rooms are in worst condition especially non-ac rooms. You can see cockroaches and rats coming into the room from the bathrooms. The dormitories were well maintained compared to the cottages. The food is not upto the mark, edible but not tasty. Overall it's not worth the stay except for the private beach.

The stay at Silver sand beach resort was awesome. We were about 14 people including for kids. Since the property had its own reach there was no crowd at all. we enjoyed the beach side both in evening and as well in the morning. We visited the resort three days back. It was little hot... if AC is not opted you cannot sleep properly in the night.. humidity is more. the resort is well planned. Little more maintenance is required to attract the guests. Though we felt the food is little expensive it was good. There was no much options with breakfast.. it is advised to keep all the toilet set before the guest ask for it, in each and every room.. also I request all the people who visit the resort to keep the beachside clean, because I saw many people who enjoy the party on the beach side had left many bottles, covers on the spot itself. If the resort takes initiative to keep one big dustbin on the beach side, all the guests can put garbage in it and not to throw on the sand. When the water level on the beach side increases all these bottles and covers are also taken along with waves and is getting polluted. It is all our responsibility to keep nature clean...

Place is beautiful private beach resort and location is awesome.But the food service is not good. Not many options and not upto the mark. If you are going for new year eve paying for the event is not at all worthy food is not good and dj is mostly kannada if you are from other state you get bored.

1.Not worth to the money...despite taking a deluxe AC room...rooms are very small and doesnt have any cloth hangers.No toiletries will be provided except one soap. 2.No indoor or outdoor activities...There is no proper maintainance of garden area or play area. 3.Food is average. If you have to eat in other restraunts you need to travel for atleast 12 km to get a good restraunt. So basically its a average stay...

We stayed here with family. 1 hr after the checkout, we realised that our son's gold pendant was lost. Immediately I called the reception and asked them to check the room. Within 30 min, i received confirmation that they found it in the room. And I received the pendent in my address after 3, 4 days. The above situation itself explain the service and quality of the resort. Thank you Silver Sand team. Keep up the good work. Cya next time soon.
