Namaste Nirvana

A nice place on the beach at Kumta. Rooms are good but may be a little cramped if three And four sharing as there is one wash room however there are few outside as well. Rooms are neat and clean especially the new buildings. AC works well and that's a must here. Food is decent. Service can be better and drinking water facilities should be better. Spacious place and looks good. A very simple place and if you are looking for 3 star and above amenities and comfort this may not be the place for you.

Our three-day stay at Namaste Nirvana, including senior citizens and a 4-year-old child, was a deeply disappointing experience. While the property's beachfront location is undeniably beautiful, this is its only highlight, as almost every other aspect of our stay was riddled with issues. The approach road is in terrible condition, making access extremely difficult, especially for senior citizens. The property is small, with about 15 cottages, but the room design is shockingly poor. The washroom is located directly behind the bed, with no exhaust fan, resulting in constant unpleasant odors and noises permeating the room, making it highly uncomfortable for everyone, particularly the elderly and the child. The rooms lack basic amenities such as a TV or intercom, and with no mobile network coverage, communication becomes a nightmare. Guests must rely on WhatsApp over Wi-Fi or physically seek out staff for assistance. This is especially inconvenient when traveling with young children or elderly family members. The dining experience was equally frustrating, with an extremely limited menu and no staff present at the restaurant to address even basic needs. Requests for something as simple as a spoon or sugar required us to leave our table and find someone to help. Furthermore, there's absolutely nothing to do after sunset, leaving the evenings dull and unengaging. For a family with senior citizens and a young child, the lack of activities and conveniences made the stay stressful. Namaste Nirvana is not suitable for families, particularly those with young children or elderly members. While the beachfront location holds promise, the lack of amenities, poor room design, inaccessible location, and subpar service make it a regrettable choice for a vacation.

The place is good, rooms are good too. The manager, Mr. Ganapathi is the reason for my low rating. We found him to be rude towards us, and has a very unpleasant behaviour, unwelcoming look on his face. I believe that people who run hospitality businesses should give a positive vibe to their customers but that wasn't the case here. I have no complains with the rooms or service, but only this rude gesture. We had requested him to send people to pick our luggage from a nearby stay which we did not like and moved out of. Mr. Ganpathi said he can't do that as the owner of the other stay called him and complained to him for taking away his customers. We questioned this to the owner of the other stay, and he said that he did not do that, he didn't even know where exactly we went. Also, he told us that it's our choice and our money, and he has no problem with us changing our accomodation. This was very unprofessional of Mr. Ganapathi.

*Mixed Experience at Namaste Nirvana* While the rooms at Namaste Nirvana were comfortable and cozy, our stay was unfortunately marred by disappointing interactions with Mr. Ganapathi, the manager. When we requested assistance with transferring our luggage from a nearby accommodation we were dissatisfied with, we were met with rudeness and a lack of hospitality. Moreover, Mr. Ganapathi's justification for refusing help - that the owner of the previous stay had complained about him taking away customers - was unfounded and later disputed by the owner themselves. This incident highlighted a significant lack of professionalism and empathy on Mr. Ganapathi's part, essential qualities for ensuring a positive guest experience. Additional drawbacks included: - The washroom was uncomfortably small. - Reptiles and worms spotted around the corners or on the walls, which may not appeal to all guests. - Food quality was average, and as someone from Mumbai, I would rate it below average. Overall, while the stay had its cozy moments, Mr. Ganapathi's unprofessional demeanor and the property's shortcomings made our experience less enjoyable than expected.

Worst experience. The host will treat you like someone who's trespassing the stay.

The location is isolated, you can't find any restaurant nearby and to reach the resort you have to pass small village roads . Food in the resort is average. Pocket friendly resort when compared to other beach resort but it has it own advantages
