Good location with all trees around. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly. Behalf of this rooms lacks basic amenities... like drinking water.. Towels... Food in canteen needs to be more taste.. Otherwise it's good in all aspects.

This property is very close to Jog Falls, serene Calm and Peaceful area. We stayed here, during Saturday and Sunday on the 17th of August & 18th of August 2022, I must say its a beautifully landscaped property with many cottages, rooms, pool, dining area etc. What disappointed us was the quality of the rooms, toilets, etc. it was really pathetic for the price and profile they hold. Such a beautiful property, unbelievable way it was managed, maintained. Rooms were not clean, paints were broken, Shabby toilets, some insects all around the property, No Phones to call for support, No water bottles, no toiletries etc. We were surprised to see the way it was maintained. Outside of the room, the common areas in the property were pretty decent looking, except the pot holes on the approach road. This property is at such a happening destination should be maintained in a better way.

One of the nearest and probably decent place to stay near jog falls (or on the way to jog falls). We, family of 4 stayed in cottages.. nicely designed cottages with trees, areca plants, lush green all around. Clean bathroom n toilet. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Liked the breakfast served that had decent spread... Property has lot of potential but in bad need of maintenance- bed spreads, curtains, window sheets etc lamps/lamp post to light the way for walking upto the dining hall...

We stayed in Matthuga homestay for two days. It was awesome experience. Homestay was very beautiful surrounded by lots of trees. Food was basic but delicious at very resonable price. Filter coffee was too good. Rooms were good & spacious. Hot water available. Car parking space was available. Smimming pool was clean. Manager Manjunath & othet staffs were very polite & always ready to help.

Rooms must be maintained properly only used but not maintained Food was excellent service also excellent location is great People are friendly and helping

Nice homestay near Jog falls. The property is built inside an arecanut plantation. We opted for club house which has two queen beds accommodating 4 adults easily. We also had a carrom board inside the room. Toilet was spacious and clean. Got excellent South Indian veg good at very nominal price. Had great time with friends in the swimming pool. Property is very close to the main road and had no trouble in locating with help of Gmaps.

I like the stay here, although it's a short stay. But we like the campus. Our cottage was very spacious. Very good host and attended too. I recommend for those who want to spend good time in lush green vegetation.. Then go for this.

Stay@Matthuga is a home stay near Jog falls, Karnataka. The location is fantastic to visit the falls, takes about 15 minutes to drive. While the property exterior is good, with a nice swimming pool, the rooms are basic. The mattress is a bit hard and bathrooms can be cleaner. Please carry toiletries as they only provide hand soap. They serve simple south Indian food at a very reasonable cost. The staff are very helpful, and didn't face issues with the service part.
