Great Location, wonderful property. As soon as you visit you realise the efforts that have gone in designing the rooms, layout n the property as a whole. The service is impeccable n food is outstanding. Local fare (vegetarian) and entire family even kiddo enjoyed every meal. The views are fantastic. Small treks are possible around the property. Great place to relax n unwind. We were two families n had the entire property to ourselves. Another 3-4 families could easily fit in. The location is just right close to all the temples we were keen on visiting esp. Avani. More than keen to visit again.

Very nice place, refreshing just few hours drive from Bangalore. Very peaceful. Amazing food, Fe in love with veg food. Nice space for a good family get-together. Amazing host.

It's a best place to take a break from our daily routine. Very close to bangalore city. So no need to wait for long holidays. Just decide and pack your bags and spend couple of days . Very refreshing. Best family destination and number one place for ladies get together and outings.

Great place for a quick getaway from Bangalore and easily accessible from the highway.Nice rooms, good food and very warm hosts. Lot of open spaces for the kids to play. Thanks Mrs Dharma Somashekar for making our stay a pleasant one.

Very spacious rooms, excellent ambience. However the hostess kept adding random restrictions on alcohol. How can they expect you to stay out of your room? How will you check on your sleeping baby? Did not have any consideration for toddler food. After asking for eggs, we were given 1and were told that's all is available. The hostess' behaviour was more like a warden and less like a hostess. Unbearably spicy food, even for an Indian. Non vegetarian option includes 1 chicken dish that is marinated in heavy spices with no option for a toddler. No generator, power cuts are not uncommon. This is a problem if you use medical devices like cpap. No wifi. Cell signal coverage is 2g when outdoors.

I fell in love with the place the minute I entered. Went to Thavaru for the New Year's. Every part of the house was built quite thoughtfully and decorated minimalistically. I am a big fan of houses that have well maintained plants and this place was one of them. Ms Dharma surely spent a lot of time with them. The courtyard had a beautiful Tulsi plant in the center and on the background was a Carnatic instrumental music. Just gave out the perfect vibe. Lovely food and extremely friendly helpers. If you are looking for a place just a couple of hours away from Bangalore, empty space around, want to stargaze and just be then this place is a must.

Tavaru homestay was a very soothing and an apt place for complete soul relaxation. Simple elegant and well suited for the complete family. Mrs and Mrs. Dharma Somshekar were a completely delightful as hosts. Definitely worth trying for any family for a weekend getaway.. A big and a heartfelt thanks for Mrs. Dharma Somshekar..

Awesome place to visit with family and friends, very well maintained. Excellent vegetarian breakfast, lunch, dinner along with awesome ginger tea, lemon tea, filter coffee with yummy snacks in the evening. You can visit famous near by places like kurudumale ganesha temple , old avani temple, Bangaru Thirupati temple, etc
