Prafulla Homestay

I stayed a few days in Prafulla Homestay and l really enjoyed my time there, just what l was looking for after busy Goa, a peaceful place in front of the beach where you can enjoy the homemade delicious food that they prepare for you if you want. All the family members are lovely and helpful with anything you need. They even offered me to take the scooter to go to Karwar town!and they drove me to the bus station my last day there. If you are looking for an authentic place this is right for you! So grateful to have been here.

The Homestay is beach-side to the most beautiful and quiet beach and the family is lovely! Rooms are very clean. Pritesh took me on a tour to the very nearby black sands beach, which was awesome. When my bag was stolen on a scooter trip, he even spent the whole day helping me reporting to the police. Photos from the beach right by the homestay + Black sands <3

We stayed for 3 nights, We were treated like family, a very humble and beautiful family to stay with. Food is home style and delicious, exactly how we wanted. Location is right across the beach, hear the waves all day and night even from inside the room. Very clean surrounding, and well maintained space.

Run by the P2 couple , Poonam and Pritesh, this home ,with its out of the world location and charm, would amaze and engulf you in good feelings and positive energy. Walk to the shore in less than a minute with a cup of tea in hand, drift with the fishermen ( our host is one), come back for a simple tasty breakfast cooked by Poonam, then take a stroll as long as you mind along a pristine beach, and for the adventure minded trekk to the hidden Tilmatti, a Star Wars like landscape, and a sparkling black sand beach, come back to Poonam's kitchen if you have ordered a konkanese lunch, and you would feel very sad to leave. That was all we did in our short stay at this homestay. Might be, I will return someday , till then Prafulla, Karwar, and P2, shall stay in our dreams.

Deeply connected people and full of serenity throughout this beautiful village. Prafulla is just 50-70 metres from the beach. Mr. Pritesh (Anna) and his family is so kind and they are very helpful. They will ensure that we are comfortable. Special mention to the food they serve ( fish is so fresh :P) You can see alot of fishing activities and enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of the great Arabian sea.

Beautifull place, serene views with beach just outside the house. Great hospitality, comfort like home. With good food & good people. Highly recommend!
