Shangri-La Jungle Resort

We had a very cherished stay at Shangri-La Jungle resort, Anmod from 15 Feb 25 till 16 Feb 25. First n foremost thing is the positive vibe and hospitality from all staff, starting from the people at the Gates, reception, Waiters, the people involved in the activities and last but not the least, the manager. |The food was very good and tasty and not over spiced. Rooms were very clean and aesthetic. We stayed in J-555 & 666. The only few issues with the rooms were, ACs were making a lot of sound, toilet lights were hanging and shower top of 666 fell off due to water force.The intercoms were not working, which is a big concern. As you have to visit the restaurant and inform them in person for every room service. However, apart from these minor hiccups, our stay was very very pleasant and we enjoyed a lot, away from daily hustle bustle of life and with no mobile networks except BSNL.|The pool was well maintained and clean pool towels were also provided to guests. Even the common use pool washroom was speckless clean.||I wished, I had extended the stay. Would surely recommend everyone to visit. Thank you Team Shangri-La Jungle resort for making this trip so memorable.

Beautiful place in the jungles just off Goa, in Karnataka. Staff, service and the food was simply awesome.. loved our weekend away having come from Australia.. highly recommended to anyone wanting to have a unique experience in the jungles.. it's a highly protected area for animals so driving out at night and safaris are not permitted, in my opinion, a fantastic initiative by the state governments to protect animals specially the tigers that roam the area.. love it, thanks to the staff.. we'll definitely be back again..

Very Disappointing Experience - Needs Major Improvement We had a very poor experience at Shangrila Village Resort. Basic hospitality and accommodation standards were not met. Food Service: There were repeated shortages of food items during all meals. At dinner, noodles and rotis ran out, and even after informing the staff, it wasn't prioritized. At lunch, fried chicken was not available. Breakfast was the most disappointing -- bread omelette and medu vada were missing, and instead of refilling, staff simply removed the labels. This gives a very poor impression and feels like an attempt to avoid replenishment. Accommodation: The toilet flush was broken and constantly leaked when the tank's water supply was on. Though the issue was reported and checked, it wasn't resolved -- the "solution" was to fill the tank halfway. The toilet spray gun was also broken; I had to fix it myself. The TV had no working channels, and the bathroom pressure gun was damaged. Facilities: The indoor game room and conference area were poorly maintained. Cleanliness alone does not compensate for broken or missing basic amenities. Positives: The only positive point was the polite attitude of some staff members who tried their best within limited resources. To Management: Please invest in maintaining your property. Foreigners or first-time visitors to India may leave with a poor impression based on the current condition of your resort. Hospitality is not just about location and cleanliness -- it's about delivering a complete, comfortable experience. Would not recommend until major improvements are made.

Amazing property. Service and staff behaviour is very good. Kids enjoyed the activities and facilities. Few things to high light on the maintenance part. There was no Telephone provision in the room. We stayed in room 555 and 666 both room has no intercom phone to call. Had difficulty to call for service as there is no mobile network also other then BSNL. Later they added the Telephone but it was not working. AC in 555 was making noise whole night. Room 555 Wash Basin light fixture hanging. Room 555 TV Cabinet broken and slightly tilt at one side. But in overall the Good Resort, Good Service, Amazing food and Cooperative Staff behaviour.

We stayed for one night. The access road to the resort is small and through the jungle which offers a good experience away from the city. Lot of area to roam around along with boating and zip line options. Food is good. The swimming pool was also clean. The rooms are not maintained properly. Bath towels, Bed sheets were stained and the sofa inside our cottage was dirty. If they take care of the rooms well, this place is very nice for a family getaway. Please note there is no mobile network or wifi in the hotel or rooms except for one spot in the sports hall.

We stayed for a day at Shangri-La Jungle Resort as a group of three. The resort is set in a beautiful and calm location, making it a great place to relax. The rooms were nice and well-maintained, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The price we got was the best offer available, making it good value for money. However, there were a few issues. The landline in the room was not working, and there was no room service available. We also encountered a large (half-foot) lizard in the dressing room, which was unexpected. The food was below average, lacking a balanced taste with improper salt, lemon, and spice levels. Overall, it's a lovely resort with great staff, but improvements in food quality, maintenance, and service would enhance the experience.

Management Need to increase the food menu , all activities wer closed and under maintenance during my stay and not informed during resort bookingplease concentrate on the food which has to tastier Swimming pool timing to be corrected specially in the morning hours..

We have been there three to four times here as it's never enough. It has got everything covered . Beautiful seren place , nature, indoor activities , games like pool, chess, carrom and Tabel tennis. Outdoor activities like zip line, boating , pony horse ride , badminton and swimming pool. Food is delicious and very home style. And yes the staff are amazing, very helpful people, always there to help . Rooms are super clean and spacious. It's a must stay for a relaxing time. Only thing there is no network but they have booster Jio and airtel so you can get signal at their reception or game room. Overall we like it very much and will visit again . It's all season destination I will say .
