OYO 30991 Hotel Sumahan

Boring hotel. Unfriendly staff. Poor service. Food is ok and budget friendly.

Horrible receptionist. Called the hotel n booked a room for 3ppl n told the receptionist that we would come at around 10.30 -11 pm.. at that time he was so polite answering that you are welcome anytime. When we reached at around 11.30 he tells us now you're late we won't provide you an extra bed as our boys are sleeping and won't come but we would charge you for an extra bed !! Those were the exact words..! For a moment I thought he was kidding but no! And that was shocking..! And he wasn't even listening to what we are telling and he left from there may be to sleep..!. Hence we had to move out of that hotel and took another hotel who were not like them.. Couldn't wait to write this horrible experience at this late night.. Hope they would see this review and learn something from this..

Totally worst experience i had ever...Hotel is out of town about to 10 KM from city..I returned by walk at late night from this place... Moving forward digitally i had booked online on goibibo...But hotel is not giving to check me in at late night...They not accept online bookings...Staff also not so helpful..Even they not provide socket for mobile to charge it.

Beware. Total con place. Extorts customers to get more money. We reached there at 10:30pm with an online paid and confirmed booking from Oyo. The rude front desk staff just said that sorry we don't accept this online booking. If you wish to stay here you need to pay the current room rate (which was three times more than what I paid online and not worth this place). As it was so late we could not go anywhere because in Gulbarga at this time on the highway we can't get any auto or taxis. We had to finally give up and agreed to pay him. And while filling the guest register the entry above mine was from oyo!! When I questioned him about this, he rudely said you can go find another hotel if you don't want to stay here and suggested hotel Aditya. He didn't let us stay for 3days stating that all rooms are booked for a wedding. Which is also not true. Because few friends stayed at that hotel on the apparent wedding day and hotel was empty. The next morning some other friends had also booked this place by Oyo and came to the hotel and he gave them rooms for the same online booking.!!! So these guys put up a low online rate to attract customers and then push them to pay 3-4 times more when they arrive at the hotel. The room was shabby, the place was never cleaned. There was adhesive on the floor. Which no one ever tried to remove. They are extremely short staffed! They only have one front desk guy and one housekeeping staff and one watchman.

Newly opened one. Staff members are yet to be trained properly to take care of the customer needs. Restaurant is having only limited options.

Not a lot of activity in this hotel. But the food is great. Located at quite a distance from the city so visit only if you have a personal vehicle.

Awesome service.. according to the Gulbarga.. hygiene and maintain hotel. And price of liquor and starter's mind blowing

It's a renowned hotel in KALABURAGI city outskirts. Located near budh vihar, sedan road. Good place to enjoy the party and stay. One of the best restaurant in Gulbarga
