Java Hills Estate Stay in Coorg provided an idyllic retreat for our family vacation. This isolated property, nestled within a lush coffee estate, offered a serene and private setting that was perfect for our getaway. We booked the entire villa, which provided ample space and comfort for everyone. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the home-cooked food prepared by the extremely hospitable staff, which was a true culinary delight. The staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Java Hills Estate Stay is an exceptional choice for families looking to unwind in a beautiful, tranquil environment, with the added charm of delicious, home-cooked meals.

Excellence in every area: food / rooms / location / host. We could not have asked for anything more. The rooms were big, with big bathrooms (plenty of hot water) and private balconies overlooking the coffee estate. You wake up to chirping birds in the morning and have the opportunity to see various varieties of birds. The place is very clean and has a quiet elegance with plenty of common rooms to relax in. The lady cook made hot and soul stirring breakfasts and dinners. The host was gracious explaining the kind of coffee that is grown in the area. The dogs were fun to play with. All in all, we loved every minute of our stay in Java hills. Looking forward to going back soon.

We are a belgian couple and stayed at Java Hills during our last trip to Karnataka in December. It was definitely one of our highlights. A lovely young man was attending to all our needs, without invading our privacy. The homemade food was excellent and there was abundant choice. We appreciated the fact that we could eat outside which is quite rare in India. The room was spacious with a lot of daylight and bed was really comfortable. It was lovely waking up in the midst of the coffee plantation and going for a walk before breakfast. The house and the rooms were spotless. Excellent price-quality!

I stayed at Java Hills with my mother, who is in her late 50s, for two nights during the Christmas/NY week. The booking process with Mr. Harsha was hassle-free, prompt, and clear in terms of expectations. ||||The place itself is as advertised and in fact, even better. The estate is easy to find and is only 5km from Madikeri. Nestled in a large and scenic coffee estate, the home has a historic feel to it with elegant decor. The rooms are well furnished with modern amenities such as hot water, western restrooms, power generators, etc. Our room had a spacious balcony that offers beautiful views of the estate. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the misty sun-kissed estate was just perfect. We could freely explore the estate by taking walks and having our morning coffee by the lawns.||||The on-site staff are quite caring and friendly while giving us plenty of privacy. They were communicative and ensured we had a comfortable time. The food served in dinner and breakfast was sumptuous, healthily made and yummy. The portions were generous and we had 3-course dinners. (PS: we are vegetarians)||||Java Hills was perfect for the mind and body. Excellent place to immerse in the nature and re-connect with family/friends without compromising on the comfort or amenities. Beautiful home and surroundings, plenty of privacy, and great food. Highly recommend this place. Great value for money.

A very nice stay all the more so because we had the whole bungalow to ourselves. The bungalow is surrounded by huge coffee plantation which makes the stay quiet memorable. We had a room upstairs and had the complete downstairs to ourselves which had a great setup of the drawing and dining rooms and the kitchen, just by luck that there was no other guest at that point of time. Mr Harsha who owns the place was in constant touch with us and the caretakers who took good care of us. And of course, the lady caretaker cooked excellent and homely food for breakfast and dinner.

We were a group of 8 adults + 2 kids stayed at this place over the weekend. I must say the location, hospitality and stay was very quiet and relaxing. The property is situated in between the coffee plantation away from any noise. The place is quite spaciously designed with furniture and interiors crafted to suit the comforts. Mr.Vidur took great care during our stay promptly providing anything we asked for. The dinner can be improved a bit to suit individual's taste buds but this does not stop me to give a 10/10 to this property.

It was an excellent stay. We were around 20 members as a family trip. Hospitality is best and the food was awesome. The property owner was reachable anytime we ask for help. He was kind enough to help us with anything we need during the stay. Location is beyond expectation. Definitely a Go to place again.

Myself along with family stayed in JAVA HILLS ESTATE, Kadagadalu Village, Madikeri in the month of May. This home stay is very nice, clean and beautiful too. Rooms are very good, bath room is very specious and very clean. Ambience, greenery also beautiful. We can enjoy good walking in the estate and village roads. This home stay is very near to Madikeri town and easy to locate. Food also excellent and care takers are also very polite and helpful. Anyone can visit this place at any season and enjoy the weather. I highly recommend this home stay for family, couple or group stay. |
