Guru Prasad put in tremendous effort to ensure our stay was comfortable, attending to every detail with great care. A nice place for a peaceful and pleasant family stay. The hosts were kind , helpful and welcoming. Vegetarian food we had was good, though there is room for improvement as some dishes were salty and spicy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the resort's location stood out with its picturesque surroundings.

Amazing spot in Chikmagalur where u can take your pets and have a great time ! The hosts and the caretaker are simply amazing and they make your stay feel like home! The highlight of the stay was definitely the food!! Its probably one of the best food I have had !! Must visit if you are looking for a pet friendly stay in Chikmagalur!

We had a wonderful two-day stay at Vastare Homestay, nestled amid beautiful coffee plantations in Chikmagalur. The host and staff provided exceptional hospitality, making us feel truly at home. The homemade, oil-less food prepared by the chef was delicious, healthy, and satisfying. Guru, the caretaker, was incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring we had a comfortable experience. The cottage room offered breathtaking views of nature through its glass window, especially enchanting on the full moon night. One minor issue was the presence of insects at night, which is quite common in such natural settings, but manageable. A perfect place for a peaceful getaway with scenic views, amazing food, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chikmagalur!

Amazing stay with lots of green & colourful flowers around. The property is very well maintained. The family that owns the property has alot of warmth & good food to offer. Definitely will try to visit this place every year. Had a great time at the new year's eve.

We are a family of four, checked in for one day, stayed overnight. Lovely experience, lovely people, had a really good, relaxing time laced with umpteen memorable moments, especially those with the ever welcoming and generous owner and family. For some detail, the wonderful aspects of our stay 1) The owner, Shashi Gowda ji, is truly all-heart, and an amazing person, full of generosity, warmth, ever-welcoming(as his family also is), went out of his way to connect with us at a personal level, be it in attendance to our concerns or dedicating his time to host us. 2) The location of the property and the rooms, is wonderful, covered all around by plenty of green cover comprised by trees and plantations. 3) The food is incredible. The quality and taste have been top notch and consistent for every item, every meal. 4) The rooms are very thoughtfully designed, it feels like a seamless integration of some artistic design ideas and proximity to greenery and ventilation. The idea to put in decor and design to restroom is something I haven't witnessed in other stays. Truly commendable 5) The garden and views from garden are beautiful, especially in evening. With swings, benches, and a sprawling lawn, the evenings can be relished in that setting , surrounded by views. 6) Special shoutout to Guruprasad, who's patient and soft- spoken, yet ever relentless, on his toes, to hold the service in place, is nearly single handedly responsible for maintaining efficiency in service to help running the stay smooth. Few things that can be bettered to enhance the stay further: 1) The common dining area can be more exclusive and planned better in layout, though the room service is more than satisfactory and pretty much makes up for it( which we availed for dinner). 2) there should be more staff that need to be hired, for designated tasks, so that the service can be a bit quicker and smoother. 3) The rooms are very well maintained in condition, in terms of being neat, but, can be maintained slightly better in look. the aspects that standout about the room, need to be continued throughout the room as well( such as walls that can have more finesse, presence of more distinctive wardrobe). 4) The garden , although beautiful, can get highly crammed if one of the visiting batches have a larger group of members. Please keep it, but also look to expand and incorporate more space for another garden or common area that can be planned. Overall, an escape into serenity amidst nature-scape, unforgettable people and experience, cannot wait to visit back again :D
