Clover Holiday Village Kodagu

Tucked away from the crowd in a village setting, Clover is very thoughtfully and aesthetically designed. The layout and the rooms are carefully planned with an eye for detail for eg: the verandahs tucked away behind tall plants. Very courteous staff, especially the manager Vineesh who went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after and additionally suggested good sight seeing spots. For those who love outdoor activities the jungle gym is a must try and do look out for the swimming pool coming up soon in a neatly selected spot in the grounds. My friends and I had a very pleasant stay at Clover, thank you !

Closer to Kushalanagara. This is a private resort with spacious, clean rooms. The property is still new. From a single cottage to interconnected rooms, there is a variety of rooms available. Best suited for larger groups, around 4 to 10 people, would enjoy it the most. There's enough open parking space and the entry/exit is also spacious. Food; Complimentary unlimited breakfast with 3 to 5 items like idli, upma, bread, cornflakes, coffee/tea, etc. was awesome. The lunch menu changes everyday, snacks available throughout the day. All the food was tasty, served hot. I highly recommend the food. Rooms: Rooms come with Atomberg fans, comfy beds and sofa, geyser, kettle, TV. But note there is no AC, no refrigerator. Some TVs don't run, all channels are not available. Cons: The 1st biggest drawback is the constant cut of the power supply due to rain and other issues. The 2nd biggest drawback is there's a mobile network available for Jio. If you have an Airtel or Vi you're in trouble as there's barely any network. But, the resort has WiFi though it only works if there's power and cables aren't cut. Overall, a safe, decent family friendly place with lots of open space. But don't expect any luxury or 24 hour service/power/internet. Be ready to experience nature at its best!

This hotel is situated far away from Madikeri and is best for group gatherings. They have ample space for parking, a play area for kids and a rope course. The best part is that you can have a campfire and they also arrange for speakers. Since it is away from the city, it can be a calm getaway. This place is good for people who are out for a calm, leisure time rather than a motive to travel and explore places. The food is also good.

We had been to Coorg with our 26 family members and the place we stayed was "Clover Holiday Village Resort". it's a real great place to relax. 3 days and 2 nights was the duration of our stay. The place was very nice and peaceful property with 4 acres of untouched natural beauty. The Dormitory and rooms are spacious with all the required amenities. Children's dedicated play area and the place for fire camp is a best part of the resort. They also have multiple nature walks and tours around the property for nature lovers. Adventure Activities is full of fun and provides numerous thrilling and skilled adventurous activities for all ages and for the Indoor play lovers they have Indoor games like Carrom, Table Tennis and Chess. When we talk about restaurant, the food and service is fabulous. The taste and quality are too good, the level of hygiene level we need to appreciate. Overall, the food experience was lovable. The management and staffs are happy to help whenever required. Mr. Rajesh, Mr. Niranjan & Mr. Vinesh are very friendly and cooperative. They personally meet each and every guest, to greet and build the great relationship and to get the feedbacks for the improvements and to adopt the new ideas. In my personal experience I feel one of the best resorts nearby Coorg. The place, hospitality and the food were awesome. We loved spending our time over there. Had a memorable experience. Lovely resort for a getaway! Thanks to the entire team!

As usual, I will try to be unbiased as I can. Service and hospitality: Mr. Rajesh(owner) and Niranjan(partner) who run the resort are very goo gentlemen. They help out and take care of you very well. Mr. Vinish is the manager there and he always available for any need or support. He can exaplain anything to you with patience and make sure you get what you need. Food: Food was surprisingly good and safe. They mention of separate veg and non-veg kitchens and that was a plus at least for me. There is no elaborate variety but whatever they give was very well done and on a need basis also they make other dishes as feasible. The rates are also nominal given the good food and for a typical resort billing. Rooms: The rooms were very very neat and well maintained with wifi. The villas, walk ways and the ambience challenged many well established hospitality giants. Supplies were given whenever needed. Play area, campfire were good. The indoor games area could have been better and was still under construction; anyhow, they games were usable. Swimming pool is under construction but they said by summer it shd be ready. Cycles were unusable and could be attended to. Location: This location is ~1 hr away from Madikeri but closer to some tourist spots in Sakleshpura. This is kind of a midpoint for Kushalnagar, Sakleshpura and Coorg. Given the price, food and hospitality, this place is a good bet and folks can travel to Madikeri/Kushalnagar/Sakleshpura and come back to rest/spend-time in this resort. It is less crowded than typical rated places; that way it gets a ++. Overall, this resort is worth your money and hospitality makes it worth more.

If you go as a tourister and wanted to explore tourist spots then definitely this is not the suitable place for your stay you are looking for. This resort is located is located nearly 62 kms from almost all the tourist places in and around. So additional 3 hours of time required to reach all tourist destinations . You need to Drive in a deep forest area to this place from Kushalnagar or from madikeri. Suggested time to reach this place is before 7 pm. Pros Resort and ambience is really good. People in the resorts are really friendly. Best place to spend with your family and kids Very large space especially for kids play area, They will arrange big speakers if you are planning for a gathering. Daily camp fire till midnight.

Good place for kids with rope course. Niranjan is very good host. Kids loved his hospitality. Very. Knowledgeable on local site seeing. Nice authentic neer dosa and chicken lollypop. All food is good. If swimming pool is there then it will make place much more engaging.

Property is clean which is the USP of this place. Also staff is friendly and will take care of ur needs. However they struggle when occupancy is full due to shortage of staff. They dont have any outdoor games. Overall a good place to chill with family .
